Everyday it seems
Society is stretched
By some pressure
Internal or ex
Till the center
Cannot hold
And it comes apart
At the seams
A little more.
While the world
Has known worse
Death and destruction
Disease and famine
Today’s Earthlings
Have increasingly reached
Their limited bandwidth
Over something
As simple
As a tweet.
When does it end
This self destruction
Which seeks
To take down
As many
As it can?
When we return
To traditional values
Of faith, family
And country.
Are we close
To such
A turning point?
So close.
Will it be achieved?
The jury
Is still out.

In my lifetime, Russia went from 'godless communism'
to 'the defender of traditional values and patriotism'
While America turned from a proud free nation under God
into a debauched libertine, entirely unshod
Our holiday family gatherings instill traditional values and are totally itchin’
What we do the day after Thanksgiving is give mom a break from the kitchen
We head out to our favorite spot, “The Poop Deck” a rock’n café that’s coolsville
In Dad’s flip flop, we take the 5 South Highway and over the Santa Monica, S hill
People believe the reason for the crazy name, is because it’s where seagull’s poo
Gosh, it’s a nautical term for upper deck, like a ship, on the ocean off Malibu
Don’t be square Dad, this tank goes faster than twenty, heavens to murgatroyd!
A real drag when we finally got there, I got a spanking; Dad was super annoyed
flip top - a car with a convertible top*
Murgatroyd-A humorous alteration of the idiom "heavens to Betsy"
(Poetry left out the letter B on the first line)
R is for the repeated distortions of facts,
A for press articles written with hacks,
M for the emphasis placed on survival,
P for the piss taken out of your rival.
A for analogies that never convince,
N for false narratives making us wince,
T for traditional values cast-off
That cause umpteen scholars and clergy to scoff.
L is for lovers whom I dream of all night,
E for electric bills high as a kite,
T for temptations I can’t keep at bay,
H for Matt Hancock - please God stay away!
A is for the **** he fondled intensely,
R for resigning - we respect that immensely,
G is for the government of which he was part, and
Y for the yes-men aboard that rotting cart.
Being a half breed,
isn't easy for me,
caught between worlds,
which you will soon see.
Not white enough to be European,
but I adhere to a lot of there beliefs,
the white Maori,
education wasn't a relief.
Not brown enough for the Maori's,
many traditional values have been lost,
seen as a traitor to the cause,
living the white way has it's cost.
I'm seen as an plastic Maori,
because I've been urbanized,
constantly burned at both ends,
because I won't pick a side.
There is no middle ground,
a side has to be chosen,
so long have they been fighting,
I don't want there poison.
Not white enough, not brown enough,
not even allowed to be in the middle,
so I will just be a kiwi,
because finding balance is a hard riddle.

I love mother India......
From top of the mountain Himalayas
down to the Indian ocean, mother
India is known as heavenly blessed country in the world.
She is always looks a most beautiful
country on earth while nature hugs her.
Her mountains are covered with beautiful flora
while beautiful fauna walk freely in the jungle
Her valleys are flowing with water from heaven
and roll down to the ocean which is picturesque blue.
Her citizens are friendly, kind and hospitable and never
fail to show their love and faith to foreign visitors
Years have been passed but her cultural and traditional values
are still alive as was during golden days.
Eminent professionals are building her to the top of the world
while her hands are stretched to accommodate any refugees
Her love and affections reflects in Taj Mahal
Her Scientist makes her proud by technological inventions
She is a great mother on this earth who loves and cares for her people
in return her people showing their faith and love to mother India
