If you want her to merch you?
You’ve got to earn it.
She doesn’t just wear your shirt,
on her it’s a perfect fit.
Little Miss Tour Merch,
she’s your top street promoter.
Little Miss Tour Merch,
she’s your biggest supporter.
No desire to be a roadie,
or follow you to the bedroom.
She doesn’t just steal your shirt,
she inspired the logo.
Little Miss Tour Merch,
she’s at every show in town.
Little Miss Tour Merch,
she’s always down to travel.
The new chorus the band green lit?
Before the full song was rehearsed?
She sold it as an anthem.
Content in your practice space
listening from the corner.
She doesn’t just have your heart,
she’s the strings on your guitar.
Little Miss Tour Merch,
everything but sex she’ll do for free.
Little Miss Tour Merch,
if you want her? Play from the heart.
One beat before the melody,
for her to merch you?
You’ve got to earn it.
In those streets of buildings
by Frank Lloyd and Corbusier
I dreamed of my dry landscape...
In those temples of sumptuous
mystery, I dreamed of the little chapel
of São João...
On the fast High Ways, I dreamed
the trails of xique xique...
In the monumental parks,
of those megalopolises, I dreamed
of the backyard of the caatingas...
In those exploded Meccas,
I dreamed of my shotgun
of soca-soca...
In the nightclubs of
high society, I dreamed
of Zé Lagoa's relaxation bal masquê...
I confess that I lived in those worlds,
but I never left home...!
BIRTHDAY CLUE AT DAWN
At dawn
In the little hours of a crow
I spoke to my pen to rise
Rise from bed to speak
The language that at best I understand
To the form and rhymes; I'm no stranger
Gladly the pen took over the pages
Surmounted all pressure and blunt edges
At the brook
In the hours when breeze was set
I spoke to my energy to arise
Rise from the brook and slumber-bed
To write
Write the words so beautiful to call gold
To the letters all over the world to glee to
My energy took over all the lines and contour
Setting examples for all men that are on this tour
Where then?
Shall the blade of my tongue not peruse
To the dragging of words with the recruits
Who were army not of words in literary world
They'll crumble at the pierce to rise no more
At dawn
Where I write from the reservoir
Words witty so wide on the mount top
Seen everywhere to radiate its stardom
At a time where memory is written; soaring
Let's go for a tour
In places far or nearby
Which you love the most.
April 20—Standup Comedy – The Insult Comedy Tour!
How and why he
Remains so popular
With some Americans
Remains a mystery.
He remains me
Of an old-time insult
Comedian, Don Rickles
Who was infamous
For insulting his audience
Who loved his edgy comic stylings,
As he cruelly mocked
everything and everyone.
But, over time, people got tired
of his routine
And his style of humor faded away
But he has resurrected
The insult comedy routine.
Going to his rallies
Is akin to a religious revival
For some people.
They delight in being
Part of his whole mad
Carnival scene.
but for many of us
the T comedy tour
is no longer funny
if it ever was.

Poetry unlike the rest
Poetry I like best
Best as non-fiction
Best as one’s conviction
Conviction of the heart
Conviction comes apart
Apart from others views
Apart from your issues
Issues we must address
Issues woven to express
Express it in loose term then
Express even if you squirm friend
Friend I listen
Friend you glisten
Glisten with valor
Glisten with color
Color our world with screams
Color unfurled dreams
Dreams you make come alive
Dreams of a swan dive
Dive deep to your goal
Dive into your soul
Soul mates on paper birch
Soul search
Search within
Search for words to pen
Pen despite limits and critics
Pen as it permits not for cynics
Cynics blind to a poetic jewel
Cynics bitter and cruel
Cruel and hollow
Cruel spirited not to follow
Follow your words
Follow the songbirds
Songbirds protocol
Songbirds call
Call out the façade
Call upon God
God knows your floetry
God gifted your poetry
Poetry forever lives
Poetry gives and gives
Gives tremendously
Gives us plenty
Plenty will agree
Plenty will see tour de force
Tour de force with symmetry
Tour de force so passionate
Passionate
Symmetry
Through a Dream
Like a Movie Screen
Inner body soared
Flying with Lord
Toured outside of Heaven
Flesh and Blood can’t enter according to the scripture
I couldn’t take a picture
It was Majesty
Beauty of Excellence and Elegance
I was totally absorbed
With the Lord
My thought was Peace and no worries
This is my story
I asked the Lord how soon could I arrive?
Lord’s reply, He was only showing me Heaven, and if I continue to follow him, Heaven is where I will be
The Lord also stated, “It wasn’t my time, and I still had living to do
The reason for the Lord’s response, the Lord simply wasn’t ready for me as I still had years to prosper
I told the Lord how, I guess I have to go back to that nasty Earth and the Lord stated in an affirmative Yes
My inner body transcended back to my flesh and blood body
I woke up with Hallelujah in praise
Heaven’s Dream in meaning everything to me.
poetry does endure
when you will write clear and pure
my great poems take a tour
at the Master's feet-
light illumes shadow
As poet who was visiting some places
To cook a piece of poetry,
suddenly you met some psychologists
who were worshipping some animal statues.
You continued with your tour,
you came across some very educated people
at a graveyard who were speaking to the dead folks.
You are told to mention about their
( IQ) intelligence quotients.
Will you afraid to speak the truth
because you will be called arrogant
by some very educated people?
As the dead people and statues
don't hear or speak,
will you tell them to go to some hospitals
for checking up their brains?
Do you think they will feel guilty
and change their minds and thoughts
Or they will hunt to stone your head?
Some other things are above humans
understandings
It sounds prophetic
But it is poetic.
July 10th 2023
I lie in this bed,
That resembles a coffin.
Hearing sounds from the,
Box on the stand.
Glancing down at this mangled body,
Thinking I've given everything,
That was asked of me.
Yet, many gave the ultimate sacrifice,
They were the lucky ones.
I remember those days of yesteryear.
I remember my brother's and sisters,
No longer here as I see them,
Dying in my arms.
I pay tribute to the fallen,
As I continue to have nightmares at night.
I see a shadow come thru my door.
A smile I haven't seen for years.
More shadows, more faces and more smiles.
He tells me, "Come on Sarge,
It's time to go home."
I get up out of bed disappearing,
As if we were never there.
I hear the slight humming,
Of the Alarm in the distant.
Yet, all I see are my brothers and sisters,
At the end of the tunnel,
Waiting for me.
I hear, " Sarge, your Tour Of Duty is over.
Were going home."
Then there is the night
with its backstreets of characters,
masked, intractable, unwilling
to leave the comfort of their
lifelong haunts. They call out
then turn away in fear
of being known.
And below, the corridors
of the underground winding through
sleepless hours,
the constant echo of footsteps
and voices punctured
by announcements of departures
to nameless places. Images cast
on grimey walls passing in haste,
doors slamed shut.
Nothing sutures together,
consciousness becomes fragments
glimpsed on screens,
splintered sounds,
words finding no meaning.
And having brought you here
what can I offer you
but the pricked chill
of an anesthetic
being eased into a vein,
the oblivion of dreamless sleep,
then daybreak bleeding through
the stuck lid of an eye,
the first thin incision of hope.
