This is late, and thus long!

Nihilism,
write thirteen beautiful lines,
the longest one in the merriam-webster
Cosmos and cosmic,
Lunar eclipse and Aurora Borealis,
milky way and the interstellar

Synecdoche,
you and I are no good
to linger longer with the charm in an alternative essay

The round trip home
is often the loneliest deadly, a painstaking pain, humble
to tone down a possessive aimless, of little or no mayhem, subtle
mascara, eloquence and dropping gets a lot of sounds for the sounding clay

and I drop the course

Underneath the moonlit night, they gather even for the balcony light and sing
those impeccable songs, one after another
What is a good read line for a mystic moon?

a mundane, a seamstress or your song! Soaring high at midnight to fly along the moon!
Keep this simple, you are giggling beside you, and you are fixing the econo cap too, a croon!
This is late, and thus long!

Premium MemberEmotions Of Lava

I’m not one to whisper,
I’d rather stay silent;
Emotions of lava
erupt leaving their ash;
Pain peels out like magma;

I’m not one to whisper
to hide a wicked scream;
Not blessed with a soft touch;
The way I use my pen?
You had to have a hunch;

I’m not one to whisper
or tone down hi octane;
One hundred miles an hour
is how fast my mind flies;
Let’s go on that detour;

I’m not one to whisper
or second guess my heart;
Maybe it cracks to bits,
but oh what a wild ride
to discover what fits.

When dawn drifts into enchanted meadows
I flow in the dreams to where the sun glows
prepares for lark sounds tethered to thistles
         sprout winged feathers distinguished initials
daybreak cast expressed suppressions idles
a desired forenoon plaything thumbs fiddles

precedence ground noteworthy work matter
gleaning harvest spread the light of laughter

pigment spectrum goldenrod noon stretcher
spruced grasslands lemony sliding fetch her
droopy starlight strands dusk ruddy runner
         sweetly evening brushed purplish lavender

midnight maiden bid moonwalkers strangely
twilight tone-down twinkle moon pies lightly

HOMECOMING

I called mom early this morning
I am coming home mama don’t worry
Yes ,Yes, tomorrow most probably
At this point I am seated on the balcony
Ten stories high on the city canopy
Gin, some pills to tone down the sea sympathy
I forgot to tell her that really
I was coming home in a coffin.

Vernal Equinox

In the frozen grip of winter's chaperone,
Cinderella gets walzted in like a dirty faced hussy.
As light and darkness stand side by side
in a battle for her supremacy.

Godmother has the ground vermin rousted up
from their hidden abodes.
Busy fashioning her apparels and pearly things.
But kissing in their modes.

Dreams that have lied dormant promise the moon,
meets with sunbeams fresh advances, with golden threads of dress-up in swoon.
New pickup lines and peer reviews
to peak at her pinnacle lines.
Fresh new light clings to the hem of misty morn,
sown at her delicate feat, like diadems.
Promised in consecrated dew-drops newly born.

The fowl caress the air in synchronized swim,
in salvos of savoir faire,
bannering rehearsal,
the reversal of Death's Nadir.

Much work to do in presenting.
Gonna have a good show.
Godmother tends to her proper dress.
Tries to tone down her exude of amoress.

Winter looks tacitly, concerned-
from the cold distance,
but is lit up by the way Spring looks back
in her gratitudes,
when she turns,
bows and curtseys at her complicit,
Majesty.

Premium MemberLife is Fleeting

Always so fanatical
tone down the dramatical
I know life’s not easy
should be more breezy
but there’s no need for drama
the Universe will deal the Kharma
open up to the world of magic
not everything is always tragic
take a breath, try some meditation
let the tension leave the station
in a world egotistical & plastic
be more thoughtful and fantastic
drop the ‘What If’s’ & find connection
it’s time for inner retrospection
life is fleeting, don’t be hateful
tame the fire, Love & be Grateful.

Premium MemberThe Perfect Blend

His practical and thoughtful way
It's either day or night,
With barely any shades of grey,
His views are black and white.

She has a multicoloured blend
Of pinks, and greens, and blues,
A reaching rainbow to extend,
Delighting with her hues.

Pragmatic thinkers often feel
Confined to their black ink,
While feelers' colors might conceal
Their longing just to think.

A one-track mind begins to stray
Outside those narrow lines,
While dreamer's hues shall not betray
A search for solid signs.

Upon a sturdy, steady stand,
His canvas black or white,
Will lighten up when colors land,
And tone down ones too bright.

When passion paints in reason's mind,
And logic heals in heart,
Within this balance, you will find
A wondrous work of art.

Premium MemberFor Girls Filled With Fire

This is for girls filled with fire,
the ones who have been told
‘Tone down. You’re too hot to handle.’

To all the girls who light the way,
the ones who have been told
‘Stop. You don’t have what it takes.’

This is for girls who refuse to listen;
To the ones who take the unfiltered flight?
Those wings are your magic carpet ride;

To all the girls built on rebuilt ashes
the ones who crash and get up again,
those flames fuel your reincarnation;

For all you girls made of fire?
Burn.

Premium MemberYour Time Is Limited

Your life is the full world, the stars, sun, and moon.
On your own, you can fight the tough times real soon.
Unsteady moves can't let you up the ladder; never tone down.
Rarely will we meet; we set the lousy goal to impugn.

Tacked and seated, man has doubts around his destiny.
In the universe, all is set by its needs, not by inerrancy.
Memories of agony and misery are not murky.
Emotions disguise behind words, extort repay.

Important to be happy, do what you love, and you will succeed.
Share your calmness, work for success, and greater reward.

Love the holiest stars; you will get a reverse welt.
In the trials of life, sync up to the ethical dealt.
Muttering stops; the sun has faded to that extent.
If your core tilts to life, brave vitality, faith will last.
Time is short; live the life of no one or precept.
Enduring one's own goal, expect to aim too tight.
During your life, believe yet not fall into the urge to defect.

Accusations

Politics mirror religion
Few want to concede their belief
While not privy to behind closed doors
A hero may be shown a thief!

So tone down those accusations
The unknown may be known greater
Don't shout too hard your affiliation
It might be, laugh now and cry later!

White Discussion

White Discussion

Man down they said
but it's ok we don't know the whole story,
let's check out his previous history,
I say you can't justify another casualty.

Man down they said
but it's ok his previous convictions
mean he didn't have a say.
I say criminality don't lessen your humanity.

Man down they said
but it's ok 'cos he had a bad cheque
the whole world watched screaming
get off his spine,
get off his neck.

Can you tone down your voice,
can you quieten your pain
we don't want it spilling,
out of your neighbourhood again
can you please not mention like white fragility,
'cos you know we don't see colour and we're all about equality.

If you keep inside your homes
we'll have some more discussions,
where we'll look into the matter,
before we white wash the blood splatter,
we promise they'll be change
but first let's reassign the blame.

Premium MemberIf You Pull a Long Face - Part Xiii

IF YOU PULL A LONG FACE : XIII

If you pull a lean long face
Each day in fear of the next Saturday
Time to tone down High C voice in Elysée Palace
Yellow Jackets are closing in on the Champs Elysées

Then if you insist on pulling that lone long face
Just think on what could happen on Bastille Day
Guest of Honour Outre Atlantique might pull your face
If sacré Fourteenth of July fell on a Yellow Saturday

Now if you cannot prevent pulling that lone long face
On the pretext your corporate tax cuts benefit the lay
You should've first laid out your plans to the populace
And obtained their consent by referendum if you may

No use pulling a lone long lean face
When Yellow Jackets choke the roads and railway
Time to move house to the Versailles Palace
And there reign as Monarch of all you survey

But if you must keep pulling that lone long face
Best to follow in footsteps of itchy-foot Corsican's Grande Armée
Take to the Chunnel set up House in Buckingham Palace
Before Brexit gets pulled off by plucky Santa Theresa May

New Millennium Helen of Troy

A thousand ships your face launches
Pitting my ship against a fleet of others
Snatching my heart, in a morass of mud drugging my haunches
Pouring torrents of my tears and fears in front of my brothers

Rendering me disconsolate
Wondering why I let you in
Although it ain’t too late
To clean up the savoury scene

In which I swim in the juice
I find hard to invest or taste
Even when I manipulate the sluice
In slow motion or in a haste

To beseech your adorable facial asset to tone down the torment
On me you inflict
To establish whether blues you foment
Initiate no conflict

Between your conscience and hearts you singe
At will
When terrified hearts in front of you cringe
As you swill

The red wine of pain and strain you rain
On hapless hearts crazy enough to fall at the feet
Which in the main
Under duress greet

Your sublime beauty
At night, at sunup, at sunset, at dawn when by the nose
You pronounce me guilty
Of presenting you a Valentine red rose.

Premium Member'borrowed Jar'

She walked around thinking
all she would ever be was someone's yesterday
She couldn't understand why that wasn't enough

So she walked around thinking she was too much
In stead of good enough
She tried to dim her light
She tried to tone down on her personality
Only to end up in a dark space
Wondering where her life was heading

She didn't get it; that all her smiles
Were bottled up in someone else's jar

Until one day; the dark space became so tight
She couldn't pretend to be happy anymore
She needed to get her happiness back
It was not meant to be kept in a jar
She had to free herself from
Her prison of thoughts
She needed to get out
She ultimately put herself in that space
And only she could shake that feelings off

On that day she took back her life
When she finally smiled it was from her heart
