A mind craves stimulation
especially as it ages
Without a kick in the head
(once in a while)
The indoor plumbing may shut down

Your experience in today
Change is not to be brought forth
Journal and starvation are framed
One mustn't and must speak
Afforded
The free press is after force of entry
Into location as advertised
"presidential crimes"
Can't is military discipline
Poverty is defined as can't
The United States can't unite
A document of a dollar in the poverty
The war is lost

Don't go shopping for prescription glasses
when you're mad at your boss.
You'll end up coming home with
don't f*ck with me glasses
that you'll regret!

Tip Of The Iceberg
Millions losing jobs.
Artificial Intelligence.
Software development.
A reality check.
Knowledge is burning up the world.
No confidence toward the future.
Tip of the iceberg.
Recognizing the end is near.
A I is our replacement.
Rapidly torrent with no reverse.
Mankind is dying.
The work-force is dwindling.
It’s in our nature to destroy ourselves.
Machine Gods to mechanical overlords.
With no place to escape.
They have stolen our identity.
A soulless society.
Tomorrow is uncertain.
A bar code on the flesh is on the horizon.

Her skin, a velvet sin, a scripture I recite with the tip of my tongue,
melts like dark chocolate, bitter and sweet on my hungry lips,
pouring confessions in breathless whispers, a dance of endless desire.
I pull her closer, white-knuckled on silk sheets,
intoxicated by the ecstasy between her thighs, a paradise lost and found,
a pleasure so intense it hurts, an echo of unshared desires.
Let me worship, adore this altar of the senses,
let me destroy and be destroyed, lose myself in your depths,
for in this ruin I find rebirth, in this chaos, the sought-after peace.

Poetry Tip 101
(A lone voice whispers)
For a dash of exquisite fun
Try to have such a mesmerising style of creativity—when stimulating, visual imagery.
So all those within your prose's proximity:
Can enjoy its delicious delivery

MARTY KING
sometimes i kiss the tip of a rainbow
golden maturity feels so ocean fresh
traces of lavender calms the vibe of overbearing reality
though time continues to be rebellious and uncaring
you provide a blanket of warmth that rehabilitates my sanity
everything slows down
your beautiful smile on my life feels so good
SHENIKA SIMS
sometimes i kiss the tip of a rainbow
knowledge, wisdom, and understanding freshly waters the vines of my personal growth
the sage burning in the air of everchanging times relaxes me to calm cool contentment
though time continues to coldly resist and frigidly obstruct
you provide the throw blanket of warmth that rehabilitates my sanity
everything feels copable
your beautiful heart's seashell rhythm in my right ear feels so good

how to be
while i am offer out of your tongue
spoken past
today no cast
mold in the dye
laughter and decaying denile
locked in a single soaring, owner
prevailing gumption
detailing winded engine
haunts of limber war
hauling the desert core
i seek and ask of neither bother
nor trolling auctioneers limbs
in a midst, a twist and astair

I use my grandma’s cookie shapes
For Chanukah each year.
They’re plastic and so very old
They might not persevere.
The candle cutter’s broken
So it’s hard to get a grip
On the pieces (there are 3 of them),
Especially the tip.
Since I’d hate to leave a shape out,
I just take an extra sec,
But today, between the batches,
I looked down and – what the heck?
For the candle tip was missing
And it wasn’t on the floor.
I had used it, so this wasn’t something
I could just ignore.
If I’d rolled it in a cookie,
An occurrence I would doubt,
Then the batter wouldn’t flatten
Since that piece would stick right out.
For a while I was stymied,
Then I checked one ball of dough
Which I’d gathered up until
My cookie sheet had room to go.
And voila! I found that sucker
And the lesson that I learned
Is to keep track of the flames
Wherever candles are concerned.

Truth

Credence
more pointed
abhorring a crowd
Its tenets
