Tip tap tip tap tip tap. They are coming much faster now.
I said Mama is taking a nigh-night.
That is dog-speak for do you want to snuggle up against your mama?
She is seven, we rescued her almost six years ago.
She loves a good snuggly night-night.
They say a dog can understand as much as a two-year-old child.
Our dog understands that when Daddy is in the kitchen, and the refrigerator door opens,
She has a good chance of scoring a piece of beef, chicken, sausage, or hot dog.
She also knows if it is Mama in the kitchen, she might as well stay on the couch with her tongue hanging out.
I do not share the way he does. I do not think an eighteen inch dog needs to weigh 200 pounds.
He had cockers. He knows all about them.
Tip. Tap. Tip. Tap.
I just lost her to the sound of the refrigerator door opening.

There was once a spark in Heaven's sky
generating an electric storm painted an angel
it coloured a rainbow within the sky mystery of the east
a bridge where the eyes walked on filled with warmth
The breath of a thousand winds held silent surrender
so clear was the promise made Unto God Himself
it begged for Mercy thanking Him for such a gift
I found a love so great it worshipped with salted drops
forming the most precious pearl inside a shell
it burned like acid devoured with the pain of not knowing why you deserted the truth
Deeply engraved there stands words spun by the man
an oath once taken can never be broken welded to his nature
never really knowing the future had became mapped in a journey
it went into darkness calling your name over and over again
in the Light of forgiveness I thank you with all my heart
we all hold out for Hope in finding Paradise one day within a storm

A Tip From Charon To Thomas Jefferson

Was it just coincidence or the work of hidden powers
that Jefferson and John Adams passed on within few hours
on a very weighty date indeed , which was July the fourth,
a day of celebration uniting south and north,
and furthermore a jubilee that fell this selfsame year,
In eighteen twenty-six, a time of joy and cheer?
Monroe, fifth president in line, died on the selfsame date,
though in his case I have to say he was a few years late.

At length Tom Jefferson woke up from a state like sleep,
and felt the urge to wander off and grant himself a peep.
Would Charon, grave ferryman, let him cross the Stygian brook?
The sullen figure thereupon, with a bleak and doleful look,
warned the hopeful president he’d be in for a nasty shock
once Charon’s bark had landed him close to the Plymouth rock..
Though America had outlived wars and then a mighty slump,
he was less sure of its chances at the blast of the final trump.
It might therefore be wiser to rest up in heaven or hell
than on earth to witness the toll of the Liberty’ knell.

I Deserve a Tip

I deserve a tip
I know if I serve my people
I serve God
I know if I serve the world
I look foolish
in the face of the bad
I realise there is no
better way if I don't
sacrifice for my people
the hopes the dreams
the confidence
the future
I can see it in my people
they are from God
so I know if I serve my people
I serve God

I deserve a tip
like a humble servants
I chose to be in this
times of hardship
like a prophet the
words of redemption
never seize to exist
from the deep of my soul
this people has been through
a lot in a world trapped in brutality
this people has cried out
with all energy they got
just to earn freedom
my people is taken
for granted even in a
time of help
they are pushed away
to bleed in griefs
and when my eyes see
this calamities upon
my people I got no
choice than to serve
my people with love

I deserve a tip
the legacy I grow
can't be a lasting reality
with out the love of my people
I want my kids to be free
on the streets of the commoners
with no harm nor intimidation
I want the humanity I preach
to be given to all humans
I want to grow old
realising I own nothing
knowing I paid my dues
paid for the sake
of the love of my people
for the ultimate sake of
the better living of
all human
I want my words
to be read written
in the mind of the good
so I see the life I sick
in loving my people
so I serve them
with all I got
and if I deserve nothing
I will not worry
cos already love
is the ultimate goal
of all I gave
so with out been told
my people knows
I deserve to be remembered
I deserve a tip

I deserve a tip
I gave my talents
I gave my heart
I gave my best
I gave my spirit
I gave my words
I gave my music
I will gave more
I gave not for vanity
but for humanity
I gave cos I own nothing
and if there is a thing
I deserve from the
love I gave to mankind
I deserve a tip

I deserve a tip
just tip me back
with love
just tip me back with
care
just tip me back
with kindness
just tip me back
like a human
cos for all I gave
I own nothing
despite
I deserve a tip

Many and first as witness to Presidential crimes

Your experience in today
Change is not to be brought forth
Journal and starvation are framed
One mustn't and must speak
Afforded
The free press is after force of entry
Into location as advertised

"presidential crimes"
Can't is military discipline
Poverty is defined as can't
The United States can't unite
A document of a dollar in the poverty
The war is lost

White Tip, Red Coat/Alouette

Numbed, I sit alone
neither dish nor bone
to console me as a friend,
space and time confined
future now defined
by this leash - me at the end.

Length of tattered rope
freedom’s shortened hope
dulls the eyes and slows the tail
of low howling hounds
old familiar sounds
bugled scent of foxes trail.

White tipped red coat flash
chicken stealing dash
inflames the lust of instinct
foxes on the loose
chasing duck and goose
trails the scent of thieves distinct.

So I am set free
as the hound I be
maestro of fox hunt sounds
low and moaning bay
echoing in sway
to the dance of fox and hounds.

Premium Member A Tip of the Hat To Saint Pat

The Luck of the Irish never fails,
Whether Belfast or the Dublin scene.
Their tried and true spirit prevails,
Dressed to the nines in emerald green.

Though past history seems so unfair,
When cursed by unforgiving rule.
Land and people fraught with despair,
And burdened by laws ever cruel.

Too many years they suffered the plight,
Till the day they severed the ties.
While rising tall for freedom's fight,
Cut their tormentors down to size.

Now one and all will surely agree,
Either standing or kneeling to pray.
Here's to an Ireland forever free,
So raise a glass on St. Patrick's Day.

Premium Member A Great Little Tip

Here's a little tip for a happier, healthier day
It depends precisely on the words you say

Ask about waking with "What time?"
  Your answer's a number---at 6 o'clock's chime

If instead, you just ask 'When?"
You get up naturally, whenever sleep ends

Wonder a bit later, "What time is lunch?"
You'll likely feel compelled to munch a bunch

But if you couch 'hungry' in terms of "When"
You're unlikely to eat a meal for ten

And so it goes throughout the day
Take your focus off the clock; keep it far away...

I'd write more about this great little tip, but --
It's 2:00, time to hit the pool for my afternoon dip

The Tip

The tip,
The ravenous tip,
Ever more food produced for its lip,
After midnight the people creep to pay homage to the tip,
Afraid to look into eyes always searching for more land to strip,
Even as it spews out more than it can eat to be taken away in a tidal rip,
And every time it burps, out comes another poisonous pip,
Its feet moving about in the waters beneath causing yet another slip,
Oh what a terrible price we pay for feeding this ravenous tip,
Cutting down trees to put up signs not to fly tip,
Planting crops that never touch a human lip,
Borrowing money for presents that go unopened even by the tip,
The ravenous tip,
That on us has such a tight grip.

Premium Member Scales Tip Down

Weight is held in the balance found wanting
Heresy thought unorthodox behaviour
drops the pearls under a great price

A river of lies flows one after another devaluing family values
Filled with the impurities of sin under an idiotic phase
Resilient is the word

Where modern day modesty sinks below par into hell's furnace
We turn now and see branding irons casting lots
Truth and chastity becomes tested

in time entering through closed doors a one way ticket
Modern day virtues are on their knees lead heavy and weak of the spirit
Richeous is a way of dialogue that forces issues relating to fascists behaviour

Unholy tongues sharpened with hostility
Split scourges with venomous petition
A war against equality begins

With the bitterness craving acceptance
Where there is no moral ground draws a battlefield
under nature's existence

The right of such education stands denied to parents
whom remain without choice
Violated beneath freedom of speech

To speak openly
on concerns and welfare
in their soul's undervalued identity
