An Invite

They will sing  a song, an invitation;
some believe there the devil's creation!
Indeed, they are huge monsters,
whales, yes great ocean songsters!
But the devil is not their relation!

'a Housewife's Work Is Never Done'

My wife, ill, I care, her whims I tend too, I care, always wishing that there was more I could do to help her back on her feet, what a treat, all night and day she screams and moans with pains, cramps, leaking wounds, nurses, every other day dress never healing lesions, Doctors still can't give reasons as to the cause of her suffering, blood tests revealing nothing, I believe they will, it's getting to a stage, old age, I won't let it stop me, indeed it has taught me a lesson, I took things for granted, not once did she complain, looked after me, housekeeping, shopping, cooking for five, kept us healthy, I now appreciate that saying 'a housewife's work is never done', when she gets better life won't be the same.

Roses - Their Gift

roses... silent words
words of love and thanks... their gift
violets agree
shame they both have to be picked
so their voices can be heard

A Gentle Touch a Rhyming Wave Poem

when I felt you, a gentle touch,
my gentle, gentle, gentle touch.
you explode, true love we both clutch.
you explode, satisfied!

true love passions were not denied,
no, were not, were not denied.
forty-eight years of love and pride.
one touch so much goodwill,

the joy of life it enthrals us still,
enthrals, enthrals, enthrals us still.
we are ready, both have a will
were ready, life moves on

if there's another way as strong,
a way as, way as, way as strong?
where all is good, nothing wrong
will we still feel loves rush?

when I felt you, a gentle touch,
will we still feel loves rush?

Dobermans' Can Write - Can'T Talk

"What we've got here is a very serious language barrier, not mine!
Let me introduce myself, I'm Tricky, a Doberman Pinscher and a thoroughbred.
My Dad Mick, clever, thinks he can talk to his pets, whatever!
He has two, yes, me and a cat called, grruf, T. C.!
Oops, he is coming, he mustn't know I write and talk too."
"Tricky, good boy, were off walkies", "Dangling my lead in my face.
A few happy barks, bark, bark. plus I wag my stumpy tail,
were on our way, so happy, I was hoping to the park,
the only place Mick lets me off my short lead, great fun.
I try to indicate my desire but no, the river, head down.
Saw a duck, made a lunge in the river plunged, cool water!
Could not believe my luck, no, didn't get the duck, Mick flew"!

Dusk - a Rhyming Wave Poem

Dusk is asking, "please sun move on",
please sun, move sun, move sun, move on!
The stars saying, "Time you were gone",
the stars, and moon await.

The stars sparkle, moon shines bright, great,
moon shines bright, shines bright, shines bright, great!
Lovers paradise, true loves fate.
Lovers finding passion.

Truly engrossed in loves fashion,
in loves, in loves, in loves fashion.
For each full of wonder, passion.
Each dusk, a new love, sworn.

Dusk is asking, "please sun move on".
For each dusk, new love sworn!

Utopia - Mavbe

There is a place tucked away,
in dreams, a land where they'll come true,
my destination, my plan is to wake up one day.
and find that it will be realised,
a land with no borders,
a world where all is one.
and one means together,
everybody having fun and everything is free,
one day, with you I agree,
somewhere a place so far away from here,
Utopia, maybe?

Sleepwalking

sleepwalkings a trait suffered by many
sleeptalking could cost you many a penny
for some its divorce
and there shown no remorse
but sleepwalking it won't cost you any

be sure if you do go sleepwalking
ware a sign I'm asleep no talking
cos if you answered back
you might get a good slap
and I'm telling ya I'm not joking
