yesterday I had flu-like symptoms
let the aches and pains consume me
slid into the misery with gusto
laid away the day in a recliner
sometimes alternating to the couch
I was not human, I was a sickly whickly
feeling sorry for myself, and yet,
resting profusely, odd for me
my comrades are asleep
i love this
gives me a writing opportunity
i had withdrawal symptoms yesterday
no cartooning
no painting
no writing
i feel more like myself now
I've been told in terms
of descriptive measure,
describing a gland
not my tool used for pleasure.
Huge and ginormous
are two they do use
as explained up above
so as not to confuse.
Urologist speaks
of this particular gland,
not shared by you women,
exclusive to man.
When bigger is better
as some who may state,
but not when it comes
to a man's prostate.
With age will come symptoms,
for most it will be,
a once simple function
now made tough, just to pee!

Disbarred from fitness.

Inhale
my heartbeat slows,
blood sluggish
through stenotic vessels
unwilling to expand,
to breathe
to let blood flow
untenable, this suffocation
this dampening
it speaks of tired eyes,
of stolid limbs,
of stultified need
torpid blood,
when will you give up
your self-imposed stricture,
your closely guarded fear,
your wariness
and inhale
his head pounds from light
body aches, muscle spasms
day is pretty shot
sharp sound of church bells
on a cold crystal clear night
warns heaven and hell
to try harder to do right
not give up on the good fight
strong gusts of north wind
ominous clouds now hover
no good they portend
bad time to feel hung over
makes good sense to find cover
cannot seem to breathe
chest seems filled up with cement
just able to wheeze
was this something to prevent
before starting to lament?
always in God's hands
strange conditions amplify
carbon footprint lands
should we continue the lie
while the planet starts to die?
Low mood(down, depressed or hopeless)
Diarrhea
Nausea
Heart problems(irregular heartbeat)
Hay fever(when never had before)
Shortness of breath
Chest pain
Swollen glands(in the neck)
Unusual muscle pain
Skipped meal(no appetite)
Brain fog(inability to focus)
Chills or shivers(no fever)
Sometimes fever
Dizziness or light-headed(terrible symptom)
Persistent cough
This is only to name a few. This is some of the symptoms that happen after one has had the vaccination and it is also symptoms when one has it without the vaccination but without the vaccination it can go on to get much worse.

Covid Symptoms

Looks like from the latest news
Covid symptoms not the same
The old ones have lost interest
So put new ones in the game
At first it took your breath away
And gave you quite a fever
Showed up in the old folks
The over sixties were receivers
Those with pre-conditions
Were the most prone of the lot
So we shut down the whole country
So we could further stir the pot
Decided that the symptoms
In the young, asymptomatic
Making them the carriers
So quarantined them in the attic
Closed down the non-essentials
Sent the lower classes home
Put millions on the food lines
From Miami up to Nome
Establishment kept searching
Found some children had a rash
Attributed it to covid
Added fuel to the crash
Now it makes you poop your pants
Makes purple colors on your toes
Some of these newest symptoms
Gives further length to someone's nose
I'm pretty sure that Covid's real
I'm still sequestered in my home
When they find more symptoms
I'll make additions to this poem
I’ve been here before
Knowing what to expect
Or so I had thought
This time, I’m perplexed
Similar exterior
I gave little thought
But the inside is backwards
I, surly, am lost
This was not the first time
I assure you, I’ve felt
That I’m losing my mind
Losing touch with myself
The crowds were blurred
My feet were planted
They knew, where they were
And took it for granted
Becoming a child
I felt so afraid
I prayed for a grown up
To lead the right way
Desperation, like heat
As it moved through my veins
Searching my pockets
In hopes to find change
Nothing came free
I already knew
But I’ve lost everything
A panic, would stew
Flush cheeks, sweaty palms
I’ve developed a stutter
Don’t slow down for me
Move on to another
Strangers, annoyed
I’m just in the way
Anything that I do
Turns out, a mistake
Yet another feature

Make me a teacher
Dignify me
