At the Resto Depot

I was at Resto Depot today for
lunch. I had a miso noodle salad
with an Avacado scooped out with two
scoops of crunchy veggie or no veggie
balls . they had exquisite seasoning too.
There was much lettuce ,the noodles were cooked.
There was dried crisp tasty noodles ,thank you.
I drank a glass of water .This dish is
a subtle smooth aged single malt whiskey,
Hard to eat slowly -I ate it quickly.
Desert was a cup of cantaloup scoops .

Happiness is the circle of glad folk,
I sat with six in all three to me spoke.
First folk were two ladies a nice chat had,
Next dude ignored me I didn’t feel bad.
A dad and son next they ordered a meal ,
They ate quickly: lunch is a sweet deal .
One was a doctor offered free rub down,
I said I live in the far part of town.
Our chat was nice he got up and split,
Noise is an irritable dish : I sit.

Solitude is a silent street.3 bare seats
I was musing when to write my conceits.

Resto Depot a hip place to hang out
For the in-crowd to be without a doubt.

Could not write my poem -my time was up
I looked at my watch ;my ride picked me up .

Premium Member Changing Station

The latest sensation
It’s sweeping the nation

The edge of innovation
The baby changing station

The gas stations have ‘em
Everybody wants ‘em

It seems if you don’t like the baby you’ve got
Just bring ‘em on in; exchange for a tot
Who’s more to your liking,
Looks rather more striking,
One you can take biking,
One more like you thought!

They’ve even got a little table
Don’t leave them there if they’re unstable
You can mark them with a label;
This one’s even educable!

So change those babies, change them fast
For sure, this sweet deal will not last.

Premium Member Psychopathy Quest

I will never hurt again, nor will I ever love or laugh.
That's the lifestyle I will live when I become a psychopath.
Pretty sweet deal if you ask me.
I hope I can attain a healthy level of psychopathy.
I imagine it would be a tremendous relief.

Publican Promises

There they go again,
giving you citizens
the ritual political spin
Got the same invitation as before ...
Only question is,
to which party do you wanna go
All of the politicians say,
their party gonna give you a merry good time
Saying, they gon make it rain
paper green,
and they got something good
coming out of the cake
Every politricker say they got a better way,
and citizen you
gon be keeping more of the money you make
Just vote for your favorite
special interest whore coming out of the cake
Politrickers be licking their fingers,
saying they got a sweet deal tooth
Making party promises to cut the tax cake,
and give a bigger slice to citizen you
Publican promises:
they gon give more of your
hard-earned money back —
That’s the honest-to-flag truth
Put more back in your pocket,
that’s what they say they gon do
Publican promises ...
ain’t you had enough of them tricking you
They think you never get enough
of being their tax fool
Publican politicians believe
putting a little more patriotic frosting
on the tax cake ... then cut a nice promise slice,
and give it to citizen you
That you gon greedily eat it all up,
just like you always do

Wings Made of Darkness

Here comes yet another girl
Lost and disoriented,
 "Same reason as the others?"
Of course,
She's broken her wings somehow,
Gossamer is fragile, after all:
Snagged on a thorn, maybe,
Or battered by the storm;
But she still yearns to fly
Like every other fairy around here —
Are the wings ready?
 "Yes,
The coating is perfect
And the feathers are sewn tight."
Excellent.
Here she comes.

Here, Darling, these wings are yours,
Aren't the just beautiful?
Yes, with these you will soar,
Higher than any other fairy.
Only for a short while, of course,
You see, the glitter
Coating the wings can only last for so long.
Soon, you will see the truth
As the black begins to shine through —
These wings are neither beautiful
Nor powerful
Nor graceful.
They're made of darkness, you stupid girl.
Once they have fed on your hope
And joy
And dreams
They will dissolve as your flight peaks
And you, you stupid girl,
Angel, fairy no more
Will plummet into the lava pits of sweet, sweet hell,
And die.

Isn't that a sweet deal?

 Girl: Yes.

Neglection and Happiness

The day you and I met was the very best day
A new home, a new family all the others would say
I adored you the exact moment that we met eyes
It seemed you still loved me, even with my size

But that didn’t last long though
Pretty soon you turned into my foe
Kicking me, smacking me, burning me
I lost one eye and now I can’t see

Over and over all of the pain you caused
I didn’t know we were going to stop and pause
I thought I had a good home
I even had a huge dog bone

But after just one week life took a turn for the worst
I feel so weak and that I have been cursed
You punch me, throw objects at me and yell
This tale, such horror is hard to tell

But now I have a brand new home
And it has a completely different tone
See after I was rescued I started to heal
I was able to see this pretty sweet deal

Love showered upon me from this new family
They hugged me, kissed me and even scratched my belly
Walks in the park, treats in the eve
I know that you would never leave

I cannot express my sheer gratitude for you
A family so amorous I never knew
I thank you, you are my best friend
And we will be together ‘til the end

Green Hearts

When will I find love might be another night out
As the light hits her face my night lights up
Her hair drips down and i see her face
I must be a blind man
Auburn brown with the pretty green eyes
Nails painted green a nice touch
Now my mind's faced with a saw sea battle
As i see a vision with her in a night gown
Of course shes wearing them green hearts

I never knew a love quite like this
Crucial due to the heart breaks now my heart feels
A love that grown from hardships
I promise you ever seen her in high heels
Landscape breathtaking hey baby what a sweet deal
Candy kisses on my mouth exclamation marks! A deep kiss!~
I promise baby I never felt a love quite like this
And I never seen A* Lady move like that!

From the moment she entered my heart i was captivated
Sweet as the words be my Valentine!
It wasn't a question it's was only matter of time
Life is a only a moment lost without a chasers on her lips , A night cap
Now tell me Sweet Woman where do you find yourself?

Premium Member Sam, Ginger, and Nicky

As a bookmaker, Sam Rothstein was the best.
The big bosses back home sent him out west.
Because of his amazing sports betting prowess,
they put him in charge of a casino in Las Vegas.
He was joined by his boyhood friend Nicky Santoro.
Nicky was Sam’s strong arm bodyguard wherever he would go.

Sam and Nicky were given such a sweet deal.
However, Sam had an emotional Achilles heel.
Street walking hustler Ginger entered into Sam‘s life.
Shortly after, Ginger became Sam’s wife.
Ginger would soon make Sam’s life a living hell.
As a mob kingpin, Nicky did his job well.
Throughout Vegas, he would cheat, steal, and kill.
Everything went out of control and straight downhill.
Sam and Nicky had a swift fall from glory.
Do you want to know the rest of the story?
That’s all the description you will get from me.
The movie is available on BluRay and DVD.

Based on the 1995 film “Casino”.
