Sultan Poems - Poems about Sultan

Ode to the Sultan of Slights

You are a soligaster of the highest order, held in pristine favor by your court. A wordsmith after Satan’s own heart.

Champion of Doublespeak, a demonstrative firebrand with a MAGA-phone. An artful dodger, complete with chaotic DOGE.

Delusions more grandiose than Bonaparte, crowned King of Deception you be a celebrated charlatan who follies

Sultan Poem:

Where there is love there is life.
Nor those spiritual eyes exist anywhere else
Nor that glowing face
Neither I found those heartfelt talks
Nor that fresh youthful beauty any place
I have seen the whole world, but haven't found anyone like you
Nor that soulful laugh exists anywhere else
Nor that pleasing fragrance
Neither I found those colorful attributes
Nor that lovely innocence

What Fire Doesn't Burn?

What fire doesn't burn?
What passion doesn't waste?
What desire still persists
when you have known its taste?

What can bind the roving eye,
Pull the riddle-knot apart?
Who can teach me to transfigure
the sultan in my heart?

Sultan

I choose to abide by Christ's holy law -
Resolve born in faith that His way is true.
A pact between mind and soul - what's the flaw?
If I know it's right, then I'm bound for you!

But I look in the mirrored depths within,
and shudder at the sultan that I see.
Silk-wrapped beast with a taste for ev'ry

Premium MemberMy Dream Sultan

He was a handsome man with a face full of strength
We all thought he was marvelous, a king on the brink.
He will become famous, we assured one another.
He had a sultan for a father and a celebrity mother.

But is he genuine? A dolt asked me, not understanding him.
I knew she was asking not out of

Crossroads

Once there was a TALL tale
of a young "bluesman" who didn't play very well

Robert was his name
and playing the "Blues" was his game

Hazel Hurst, Mississippi is where he is from
A legend, one day he would soon become

But meanwhile, he would play and sing tirelessly throughout the day and night
The juke joint was his home and

Time's Sultan of Doom

If you live long enough
  you can outgrow everything
  even uncertainty and doubt

As the road fades behind you
  and memories compress
giving you a final way out

Taking you into a magical land
  between two worlds where you
  float in-between

One where you struggled and questioned yourself
  and one made

The Sultan of Sunny Bahrain

The Sultan of sunny Bahrain,
was caught one day in the rain,
‘So soothing,’ he said,
as it splashed on his head
I hope it happens again.

The Sultan of sunny Bahrain,
now wants to stand in the rain,
‘I’m sure it will help,
to freshen my scalp,
let’s hope it happens again.’

The Sultan of

The Eagle/The Sultan/The Me

in the dream i am the eagle

in search of blissful locations-a nest for potential stay
i decide to live nomadic-for an eternity

on the ground i see the angst...i can hear the hearts giving birth to thoughts

in the sleep i am the exiled sultan
after my throne is snatched in the morning,i stand outside of my kingdom's gate
