I see the wind
And hear the sun
And when it hurts
I have such fun
I know not when
But the where is sure
The reasons are clear
Though fully obscure
Thoughts I suffer
The long night through
Bring such comfort
How is this true
Confusion reigns
Within thoughts clear
And peace so far
And yet so near
I can feel it
Though I’m completely numb
My mind subtracts
To find the sum
The answers are certain
The questions unclear
How much longer
Must I
remain here

A stretched gloaming tethers creation in a
daystar's wake ... askew parts The Old Guitarist
ebbing lambent stars strung to a yarn of spring ...
'Tis the volley of calendrical crasis
poised to a youthful Einstein that subtracts from
the sum and substance whence summer makes a splash ...
The advent of an enchanting star dulls a
chant that the Khanate only stains upon its
Golden Horde smolders beneath befriending clouds ...
A whiff that slights Aurelius' bearings yet
still trifles a chalk absence to the presence
of cheese that embellishes the languid tracing ...
The shallow space of bards decreed a crowning
flock of teary favoring san tissues of
lissome verdancy choral ode vibrant charms ...
Worshipped effervescent microscopic dew
bringing into being just one bell prayers
bearing fruits of promise in globule water ...
Petrichor emanates to a hoverance
wisp claim as wandering brevity stands still
amidst a sonder of souls ventured threshold ...
Gold beams glimpsed a bevy coup of a vast crest
as the dripping stalled in evaporating
stares chase a clinked rainbow flaunts with ... creation.

Sometimes I think if we had paid better attention to basic math
it would be easier to follow our hearts….
and the Earth would be one whole…
instead of broken into parts.
I imagine in elementary school we could not contemplate
the importance of basic math in terms of love and hate.
Even now I have to wonder: as to what might be your reaction
when I tell you love and hate come down to simple addition and subtraction?
I draw your attention to those math lessons…the ones on basic facts…
Love as a plus…adds beauty to the world
Hate, as a minus…subtracts.
And if I may take a moment to extend this view, this perception…this vision
love and hate also relate…to multiplication…and division.
Hate divides us, it tears people apart…
it separates us by color, shape and size
Love brings us together…
it accumulates…it multiplies.
Perhaps some of us should go back to school and re-learn our basic facts
because until their connection to love and hate…we are all able to see
The Earth will remain only a fraction…
of the whole Earth she was created to be.

Time is measures
counts, adds and subtracts
its lone reason
I walk by a graveyard
aware of silent murmur
read the labels
and solemn faces
for a moment become
Time's critical jury
then remember
life is my reason
I cross at the corner
faith my cure
to move beyond

Tenebrous night steals autumn days,
Invading ink subtracts the breath of light,
With tarnished mingling edge,
With dusty dusk’s laments.
Tenebrous night of immutable grave,
Infiltrating melanin loots the golden glow,
Where criminal and crucifix sink,
Where dream and delirium drown.
We are merely complexions of being
With frivolous hearts,
Chalking pigment lines to cleave
The cloak of skin we all share,
Chasing the encasing that divides us.
Across the planet, lines of disparity,
Lines of uneven imparity,
Across the globe, lines of ruling class,
Lines of the toilers and indigent class.
We are merely complexions of being
Carving rich from poor,
Along lines of race and class.
We dread what may come to pass.
Tenebrous night our final gasp,
The tenuous squandered
Dwindling light we grasp.

Neither their presence nor absence adds to or subtracts from you.*
Once a problem you share with them, infinite ones will ensue.†
In interaction with them too, you reduce to their value.‡

Digital age, digital technology, digital people
Digital adds to life
Digital subtracts from life
But why?
Because:
People make things
People change things
People use things
People abuse things
So:
Digital education for everyone
Then:
Digital technology for everyone
Young and old, rich and poor, here and there
Reboot society
Reboot life
Reboot digital!

Open sky
The blue lake has numerous
waves Is evolving with.
In the fog frenzy
The hills around
Unclean existence proves;
On this side the green is on the hill
A gentle, sweet, calm, soft
women is standing,
A few green leaves to wear;
Wet by the sound of his infinite joy
A smile of fullness on the soft lips;
Who refreshes the softness of the test
Without wasting
She subtracts the leaves.
And she is again
Occupies the same position.
But listen, friend!
Negative transgression will say--
It's nothing but nudity,
But the positives will say--
"Woman-body and earth-body
Open Meeting ”.

Sometimes I sit and wonder:
Would our world be on a better path
if in elementary school we paid more attention
to the lessons we learned in math.
I imagine back then we didn’t understand
how those lessons would relate
as we grew a little older…
in terms of love and hate.
Even now I have to wonder:
What is your reaction
when I tell you love and hate comes down
to simple addition and subtraction?
I draw your attention to those math lessons…
the ones about basic facts…
Love as a plus…adds to the world
Hate, as a minus…subtracts.
And if I may extend a moment
this mathematical vision
When it comes to love and hate we can’t leave out
multiplication…and division.
Hate divides us, it tears us apart…
it makes the world smaller in shape and size
Love brings us together and with our help…
it multiplies.
I wonder if the world shouldn’t go back to school
perhaps that would help us all to see…
until we improve in our basic facts
we are only a fraction of what we can be.

Her time ensures Summer’s erased slate for winter.
Fall subtracts while she distracts with earth-toned glitter.
Autumn kisses summer from our skin her first day.
She flirts us into her crispy, sun-somber way.
See vibrant leaves now fall in dance curls from each tree;
though their lives now end, they face their spent happily.
Smile as children play adventure-pretend walking,
attempting no leafy crunchy sounds while prey stalking.
Watch as comes sweaters with red cheeks and hand holding
to feel details scrolling in Autumn’s unfolding.

What is the indication of the rise?
Is rise wanted to say something?
Rise say you inspire the rise
Is this truth is this fact
I want to do a journey of your heart
Give me permission for this search
I want to view those soft flowers
Who inspire colorful rise
I have to read beauty of your face
Which attract whole natural life
And want to pick subtracts of your thought
To adopt your vision in life
I am viewing in your eyes
Flow of some rising dream
And an offer to inter in your heart
Now feeling say your acceptance
Will go to fulfill my each desire

“I’ll forgive you, but I won’t forget it.”
We have heard this said before.
But love does not keep records of wrongs done.
It forgets them, and doesn’t keep score.
To forgive is surely divine. One needs
God’s help to accomplish this feat.
But it brings joy beyond measure to life.
It ultimately adds love, and subtracts deceit.

sharpening our pencils, mending our shoes
a man of many a shade and trade
dressing our wounds,piercing our ears
squeezing glasses of fresh lemonade
to instill in us values and principles
never-ending lore, anecdote and fable
always radiant in the light of faith
he made us pray always at the table
the litany of words he spoke with perfect diction
all of us cousins would start spelling
rewarded us to do adds/subtracts with chalk
covering every open space in his dwelling.
he made us stand and marked our heights
against that ‘wall of pride’, each summer
etched lines of growth labeled with names and dates
for each of his grandsons, granddaughters
I touch the resilient lines of love
when I visit, I sit in his rocking chair
feel his gentle eyes on me
keeping a watch from somewhere
