Autumn Kisses

Her time ensures Summer’s erased slate for winter.
Fall subtracts while she distracts with earth-toned glitter.

Autumn kisses summer from our skin her first day.
She flirts us into her crispy, sun-somber way.

See vibrant leaves now fall in dance curls from each tree;
though their lives now end, they face their spent happily.

Smile as children play adventure-pretend walking,
attempting no leafy crunchy sounds while prey stalking.

Watch as comes sweaters with red cheeks and hand holding
to feel details scrolling in Autumn’s unfolding.

Lovely images, sweet Caycay. This contest has had so many good entries, I would hate to judge it with only ten winners possible!!

Beautifully crafted my friend. This paints such a lovely picture of the coming season. It is vibrant and has the slightest chill flowing through it. Nicely done
