Premium MemberThe Truth in Time

Materialised out of t’ foggy whorl.
Most people have speculated without fail
from whence shores or dimension you have hail’d.
They agreed upon: You’re out of this world!

A temperament like Mercury hurled.
I’m a master in the art of stonewalling.
I couldn’t help but irrevocably falling
for you as my bridled passion unfurled.

You don’t possess the beauty o’ Saturn’s rings.
Idyllic days under Neptune blue skies.
I wouldn’t exchange this time for anything
in heaven or on earth– that is no lie.

The truth and morning become light with time:
True nature of Epona is sublime.

Life is a Song

Life is a song,
incomplete, yet soothing—
lullabies lulling the world to sleep
with its balladic lilt, gently swaying
to the depths of its nomadic
syncopation.

Where I can subdue archaic
hieroglyphics in hues of
rose gold notes, invading my
tentative aura, glistening upon
tragic horizons,
for the wandering seekers,
freely waltzing to arias of the moon,
escaping unsung passages to
desolate wastelands,

where fiends roam in spite;
surviving the clusters of
rain drenched clouds,
draining the life out of
sunken nocturnes,
lost in cataclysmic paradoxes
overshadowed by waves of
monotonous soliloquy.

Yet I crave the aphotic harmonies of
its flesh and bones,
cocooned in the stillness of
shadows that align,
stonewalling the
world so bent on exposing me—
finding my true element,
inhabiting where life meets its end credits,
resuscitating sentiments long forgotten,
enabling me to breathe.

Broken Wishbone

My eyes fell closed as I watched a dark night sky
A chance wasted of hopes pinned on stars falling
Candlewick atop my cake, flame did defy
I feel the fates to my dreams are stonewalling

I plucked an eyelash with a deep breath inhaled
But the breeze beat my breath, another wish failed
A last chance hinging on thanksgiving alone
Alas, there’s no wish, on a broken wishbone

Life's Puzzle

From this, has learned,
This has taught him life's principles,
The rudiments of moving up life’s ladder,
The art of stonewalling,
Bricks bonded in a pattern,
A master craftsman he is,
Brick on the brick he lay them,
Row by row they went up,
Until the desired height is attained,
Life is like a brick wall,
Step by step we journey,
Year by year we progress,
Until the conceived goal,
The bricklayer's poem shows this,
Written in few lines,
Arranged in sequential syllables,
“Stacking and stacking,
Life goes up in a high rise order”,
This is his favourite quote.

Sting Like a Bee

Making up lies and rumors about my psychological state.
So you can exert your power through a dictatorship full of hate.
You hide behind your mask, and education.
As you blame the wrong person.
It’s apparent you made up your own version.
Your reality is different than mine.
I don’t withhold a double edged sword in which I fling.
As your stonewalling tactics sting like a bee.
Your idea of family is so dysfunctional.
As your condescending ways are beyond one dimensional.

Helen of Troy

In the midst of all the chaos, I think of you and wish I had your support and love.

Changing of the season; the leaves fall, and I wish I were that autumn leaf falling into your arms, or perhaps whisked away in the wind to a secret place where we can reunite and love like a family again.

In the midst of the chaos, I ache for peace, a yearning for steadiness while I put hope and faith on the front row like an Opera.

Where the lovers sing out to acapella; embracing their broken heart.

A love so strong it causes heatwaves in the middle of winter.

Two shooting stars crossing paths across a vast milky way, and crashing into one another to make love under the constellations.

The type of love and hate that grows tired with time as your womanzing, narcissism, and stonewalling only causes confusion, chaos, and heartache.

Yet in the middle of the chaos; I yearn for a love so strong.

A love so strong; like a Grecian goddess returning to her lover after she escapes Paris.

In the midst of all the chaos, I yearned for a love so strong.

Premium MemberPale Shelter

Dangling from fragile threads
soaked in suppressed emotions
I weigh my limited options
as flashes from the past flicker
behind a barrier of uncertainty.
In swirling mist I see your hazy
expressionless face. I call out,
my voice cracking under the
strain of persistent instability.
Scornfully stonewalling me
you turn and walk away, while
suspended in the throes of time,
I hesitate, then stop in my tracks
dejected…rejected…hurting...

Premium MemberNot One Telltale Sign

A cloudy sky pouts, under threat of rain,
as a brisk breeze rattles my windowpane.
While a ghostly fog reinforces doubts,
under threat of rain; a cloudy sky pouts.

There's little change; Winter is persistent,
any trace of Spring is nonexistent.
April is gone, and May is acting strange;
Winter is persistent; there's little change.

Winter is stalling, reluctant to leave,
sending signals, the wishful misconceive.
And defying Nature, She's stonewalling;
reluctant to leave; Winter is stalling.

There's no trace, not one telltale sign of Spring;
climate change is mucking with everything.
Until Winter leaves, Spring won't show Her face,
not one telltale sign of Spring; there's no trace.

We will be in June before you know it,
Spring is stalling; not willing to commit.
Another miserable afternoon,
before you know it, we will be in June.

Midnight Typhoon

Spring tide
pounding against
a rocky relationship

between the
new moon and
earth’s pie in the sky.

On an island
of one’s own making
in the mind —

like a whirlpool
when imagination
slips away

on a one-way
ticket to disaster —
no peace to find.

Stonewalling
rest with stress
and anxiety.

No sleep
on a tidal bore
without soporifics

in a
midnight typhoon
pawning fantasy.

From Deep Inside

I don't know, I just sat there, in manacles
While the warden's assistant worked the tentacles
Cold as a dog's nose, shivering
My back bare against the stone wall
Of a system that drew pleasure from stonewalling
I don't know why nobody else noticed it
But from where I sat I could see everything
They had no case against me and they knew it
But they kept buying time to try and break me
Their law said nothing about refusal to toyi-toyi

I had been consistent in my daily routine
Denying them the satisfaction
I ate everything the jail provided
Sadza and salt, with a glass of undiluted urea
And of course a daily dose of torture
For information they all knew I did not have
The warden's people watching and smiling
As if they had an idea what I was in for

Today I got another of those visitors
Tomorrow I might just cook up a story
I don't know, just to catch a break from this
But then who's to say what will come next?

Let Me In

I see the sunshine in your smile
Makes me want to rub your bottom lip
Didn’t see that smirk for awhile
Seemed liked mine wasn’t letting you in

Maybe we’re perfect strangers
And we don’t need to see eye to eye
Maybe we’re helping each other escape
When did you suddenly become the good guy

We remain nameless
Just bodies walking side by side
Until I sink into your seat
And our feelings collides

Open the door
I’m knocking so you’ll be the one to give me more
I want to hear you, when you forget you’re talking to me
It’ll take time for me to set fire to you from the ground floor

I’m no princess
My crown is falling
Reign over me, my heart is dissolving
Stop stonewalling when I come calling
