From this, has learned, This has taught him life's principles, The rudiments of moving up life’s ladder, The art of stonewalling, Bricks bonded in a pattern, A master craftsman he is, Brick on the brick he lay them, Row by row they went up, Until the desired height is attained, Life is like a brick wall, Step by step we journey, Year by year we progress, Until the conceived goal, The bricklayer's poem shows this, Written in few lines, Arranged in sequential syllables, “Stacking and stacking, Life goes up in a high rise order”, This is his favourite quote.
