Stay Fit Poems | Examples

Surging Strength

Stumbling upon a surge of sensational hope
Faithful and determined as a shining shark,
About to attack its prey…I pray I learn to cope
With the fact that I’m helplessly swinging on a swing at a kid’s park

Constant loathing has no reasoning behind it
Love strong and beautiful blessings will stay fit
Instant gratification won’t help this out without a doubt
Don’t pout and about…I’m not leaving until I’m completely out of it and about

All lengths of strengths fulfill my soul as a whole
A surge of shamelessness never had a moment so dull
I’m breathing in black coals of envy and breathing out red roses of fun
I’m teething on some Mexican candy and I need some dentist work done

What do you fear?

It's a fresh day
To play in a new way
To convey each light ray
More pray, no delay, fair pay
We stay where we lay
What can I say?

Stand up, quit your sit
Take a breath, rest a bit
Ensure you stay fit
Get ready for the hit
Grab your jumping kit
Fall not into pit

As he'd walk into your block
In seconds, he'll knock
This folk you name clock
Needing a talk but you lock
It'll mock you into shock
You can't stalk the stock

You can water the seed
And extract all the weed
Indeed growing at speed
But when you succeed
Never mislead this creed
We need to impede the greed

As it sheds its slough
My skin is no longer rough
No batter, nor pastry, just dough
So chewing ain't been tough
This stuff? Calling it enough
You laugh until you cough

Step clear in your gear
Hear this, oh my dear
Here the end is near
This day, this month, this year
Every tear will disappear
What do you fear?

Premium Member MY WELLNESS GOAL

Convinced that health is wealth, precious indeed
Vital in the ministry with my best
By God’s love, grace, peace and hope* amidst test…
I aim to stay fit --- my goal of blest creed.

Striving for wellness toward fulfilled life
Propels my functional being aright
With heart and soul reaching maximum height
Achieving most, devoid of ailment-strife.

Possessing healthy body and sound mind
I can do my tasks with workmanship glow
Joyously while smiting slothfulness’ woe
As faith drives me, triumphantly-designed.

I’ll continue with my exercise-ways
Practicing self-discipline for good gain
Feasting on nutritious diet, sans pain
Trusting God that I can win in life’s race.

Yes, staying healthy is number one goal
I pray to attain with the Lord’s great hand
For such props my daily reaching-out stand
With my senses as a person, so whole.

*Romans 15:13 - Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.

Premium Member Eat Your Veggies

Eat your veggies you'll grow up big and strong
That's what parents used to tell little boys
I'm wondering what they told dainty little girls
Must have used some other devious ploy

Like eat your veggies you sweet young thing
Boys will come knocking at your door
This underhanded method of cajoling offsprings
Was quite normal in the days of yore

The kiddies of today are much more aware
The Internet's where they get their facts
If you try to bombard them with the stuff we got
They'll look at you as if you're cracked

Time marches on in a time honoured fashion
Yesterday's technology is old hat
You no sooner buy the latest up to date gadget
When a newer version comes out topping that

When will this joy ride ever come to an end
Probably never so best get used to it
Keep eating your veggies it's still a good plan
Eating healthy will help you stay fit

Premium Member Five A Day

I’ve heard it said we should have five a day
If healthy is how we desire to stay
I’ve planned my diet and so I can say
I’ll get five a day and I’ll be okay

I’ve ordered a cocktail with cherries in
And asked for some lemon - sliced - in my gin
My Bloody Mary with tomato juice
Has vodka, with olives put to good use

That’s how I’ll stay fit and live forever
Five a day’s easy, if you play clever
But you’re looking smug, “That’s just four,” you say
Well I’m not missing my quota today

Check out the bartender and you will see
I’ve ordered a strawberry daiquiri

To Be Well

A few ways to stay well,
3 ways to you I shall tell.

Believe in yourself,
it helps strengthen your mental health.

Stay fit,
Don’t just quit.

Eat healthy,
And keep your mind and body wealthy.

Address what you’re feeling,
Then you’ll know, with what you’re dealing.

Setbacks you must solve,
old feelings, you must dissolve.

Take care,
And on this note, I bid you farewell.

Premium Member Worn Out Working Out

My workouts just get tougher,
The older that I get.
All the pains that I suffer,
Just trying to stay fit.

Wish I felt just like I did,
More than thirty years ago.
Back when I was still a kid,
And my muscles still would grow.

Even though I don't look bad,
For someone of my age.
The knowledge makes me sad,
That it's time to turn the page.

Though my will still compels,
At times it seems so stormy.
I'd love for someone else,
To do my workouts for me.

Fitness Beats Pandemic

The one who is fit,
Is the one who will
Reach the summit
So stay safe, stay fit.

This pandemic is like a war
Nobody knows how long it will last
It is like an evil spell a witch has cast .
So we must break this spell
No matter even if we fail.

There is only one way to fight it - with fitness
Even though this fight is going to be intense.
We must fight it with full courage and strength
Our body and mind must be cleansed.

We must do workouts and exercises
And avoid burgers and french fries.
Along with our sisters and brothers
A way to beat this Pandemic, let's discover!

The real meaning of Fitness
Is our mind and body's business
When we jump, hop and run
And most importantly have fun!

Premium Member A Cure For Covid Wdj

I used to bite life with gusto
refusing to see the sun go
I'd paddle my way in the flow
knowing I had a life to row

Today I wear a mask and breathe
with a slow purposeful cleave
I have days of, "God, I believe "
and sometimes days of no reprieve

Watered down living I call it
all we do is stay home and sit
though I exercise to stay fit
there are days when I lose my wit

I used laugh and play and sing
today I'm living on a string
I pray that the future will bring
a cure for covid, on its wing

An Ideal Cat

Felix, Tom, Boss cat too
Our feline friends, not in a zoo.
Cartoons flicker across our eyes,
Long lost pussy's in the skies.

Tommy and Lucy, 13years on,
Slower but still going strong.
Lucy black, still likes to play,
Though lazily lounges throughout the day.

If I could, I'd have a cat,
That wore a monocle and a top hat.
It'd ride a bike, along our road,
Stay fit and youthful, never old.

Leave Two Eat Word Play

“We or barn to eat good food” ass a pay-rent I say.
sand-witches and serials cane keep yew light,

Jews may help yew stay fit,
bred, meet, eggs, been and milk or healthy;
butt far my chill-run, junk ease a hit
bee it far brake-fast, lunch are din-err .

Nude-dulls, chips and soda rules
All this wining from the groan-ups
on benefits off good food fall on deaf years,
My lessens dessert what is good for there soles,

I'M So Lucky

I know I don’t look like Brad Pitt
imagine trying to stay fit
I am not a neuro surgeon
I would surely be a virgin

I don’t have Donald Trump’s money
but then girls think I’m so funny
I will never sing like Jagger
people say I’m not a bragger

I don’t drive a red Ferrari
I like going on safari
the whole idea of minister
just creeps me to be sinister

I know I’m so very lucky
but I do dream of unlucky?

Tea Time

Tea

This year, I drank tea
Tea has been helping me! Yep!
Yummy when it's hot!

This year, no coffee
I know, this might be so hard!
I crave it no doubt!

This January,
I drank some green tea! Mhm!
Don't like it cold! Yuck!

It's a delightful drink
It's time for tea any day
Or so I think *wink*

This February,
I will drink more tea - served smiles
Don't like it bitter?

This year, less sugar
That means you, sweetie candy
My childhood - vanished!

This year - gym and eat
Just eat healthy and stay fit
Work a sweat! That's hott!

Yea

Bloody Wrist

They call her fat
She says it was the cat
They don't see it
She tries to stay fit
They only look at her eyes
She closes hers and cries
They try to be a boss
She makes it go across
They want her down
She usually frowns
It's not like she has the crown
She want's it too stop
She just want's to drop
Stop everything
She doesn't belong
She watches the blood
She is just a dud
She gets pushed in mud
