I used to bite life with gusto refusing to see the sun go I'd paddle my way in the flow knowing I had a life to row Today I wear a mask and breathe with a slow purposeful cleave I have days of, "God, I believe " and sometimes days of no reprieve Watered down living I call it all we do is stay home and sit though I exercise to stay fit there are days when I lose my wit I used laugh and play and sing today I'm living on a string I pray that the future will bring a cure for covid, on its wing January 30, 2021 Contest Name: Watered Down Juice Sponsor Name: Edward Ibeh

This past summer I did a lot of solo cycling. I have to say I really enjoyed connecting with nature and myself. I do miss family dinners and hugging friends. It is indeed a difficult time. I too hope for a brighter tomorrow.
