Barry University Buccaneer Taking Poetic Notice

There once was a bulldog named Champ
Who loved to go up and down a ramp
Just for fun they built him one
To stay fit he would go up it
They asked the tech
“did you do this so Champ would have respect”
“We did it really for course credit”
Is what the techs said so others would get it

While enjoying Independence success
An Ibis named Sebastian came by to check out the final exam test.
“I would offer you one of my canes after this Independence game if you had no plans to complain.”
Champ did Inquire about why the bird thought he would be a cane buyer
“I just use this ramp for fun since it is a nice place to have a healthy run”

Up I go and down you know
Makes for a nice little show
And once I am done having this fun
I can take a drink from the Independence Bowl
Since it is time you know for the Ibis to go
Sebastian returned to his hammock
Thinking of a plan instead of being in a panic,
This dog is right. This is going to be a fight
“It is time I rest up for this matinee,” the directional duckling did say.
Forecast is good as it should
No actual hurricanes in sight
To show there thunderous might
Up by seven Champ will start
According to those doing the handicapping money part
Making wallets fatter is not what matters
It is winning the Independence Bowl was Sebastian’s and Champ’s goal
When the British Boxing futbol is close to the end
Champ will head out to his state's home field ready to defend
His honor from the Miami men
Win or lose it will be time to choose
A dog or cane in this game that will not turn a blind eye on if Independence is worth a 100 percent try
