Within the swirling currents of stars
He materializes, a silhouette against chaos
He is the whisper throughout time of stories untold

Worn out boots pound the cracked pavement
The echoes of centuries ripple beneath him
He carries a heavy urgency within his heart
He carries the truth, secrets, and all the lies

In the alleyways where shadows conspire in silence
Sleepy eyes wide

Streaming dust specks of his aura left as evidence
A celestial being formed of stardust *
To adorn him any less of his scintillating charm,
his signature star walk, or shimmering trails,    *
I’d need to resign to an asylum to deny a twilight of stars
To beautify him further lacks only a gilded spark divine

Starman has VIP upgrades
so was able to see Glenn Hughes 
after the concert

Starman asked Glenn
what is the secret to the universe
as to where Glenn replied
Music is the Healer

Can you solo for me?
How about Coast to Coast or Breathe
Glenn said okay and pulled out his acoustic
Let us sing together he gathered

Starman

A starman travelling through space and time.
I bear witness to great earth's decline.
Whilst travelling in my time machine.
You won't believe the sights I've seen.

We can travel now at the speed of light,
and what I've seen, it's not a pretty sight!
We have the ability to travel, to find new worlds.
Where a place we can call home

or, if you want, I can be the Blue Fairy from Pinocchio. 
I'll be whatever you want me to be,
You paid your consulting fee, so

Amazed by lightning and Starman

As a young kid, watching monsoon rains was fun, 
Sometimes enjoy the rain and get wet, 
sometimes run paper boats till they drown in the deluge, 
Never thinking of thunder and lightning, till parents warned. 

On one such ominous occasion, 
When dark clouds were raining with lightning flashes, 
One fell and hit a lamp post

Hi all you earthlings! 
Starman here!
I'm back for the umpteenth time.
When will you ever learn?
When will you ever learn?
Where I come from we changed our ways
to adopt the common good by proxy.
Not to act when it's too late,
or almost too late,
in the tragedy of the commons.
Wars, climate change, pollution, heath and well-being,

My voice ignored, my advice not taken
This last opportunity for all of humanity
Mark my words they do not lack clarity
My visits are not to seek any popularity

one sugar in his tea
just like me
shoes double knotted

but he did like 
to look at the stars, 
for fleeting moments
he was out there
and in that stare 
stars knew him

he didn't say
where he was from
but if I had to guess

In a dusty fleabit mining town
The kind you’d see on screen
The stranger rode down Main Street 
Looking evil, looking mean
He packed a pair of six guns 
And a sawn off in his vest
Those folks was mighty nervous
But that’s something you’d a guessed

The drug store shut the shutters
And the hotel did the same
The sky grew dark
