And being told of my financial state,
I grit my teeth poor as a rotting board,
I feel like a lemon squeezed, I dont feel great ,
Please dont sink my ship while I am aboard.;

And news like this,my guts squirt out lemon juice,
I am being squeezed dry -feel I want to die ,

Squeezed Flights of Fancy

A kingdom that’s ruled by flights of fancy,
suddenly whimsical has been turned sour;
Peasants facing collective tragedy 
being brought to life is leaving them dour;
Afraid to truly close their eyes and see
they all fight the same nightmarish power;
Squeezing into all that they have outgrown
will bravely boost up that childhood backbone.

drenched umbrellas into the fog of sunrise

I squeezed hands under veil of the darkness...
"You are pale today, tell me, why?"
Because I gave him drink with tart sadness
to be drunk to regret and to cry.

Can't forget, he walked out and he staggered

Remember running?

Remember laughing? Really laughing? As your restless eyes lept into the silence. 

NOW 

suck down that second hand laugh. See how easy it is. 

Dread shadows me. It seeps out of my mouth and clings to my eyes. 

They see. They laugh.

Paint me a day

Lime green meadows
beneath bluebell skies mellow

Brush in the shoots
of daffodils  sunny blooms
delegating room
for a robins red belly plumes

Stroke in this scene
daisies white with sunny smiles
altering this trial
of winter’s cold, but for awhile
