Smiling so polite
to regurgitated lines that we recite
A serene sea 
A tranquil facsimile
That's what you see
That's what I show
all so you don't know

In the mirror I see fire
I see hate 
A self-portrait of fear?
Or just the demon getting near

I'm losing my control
Will the savage show?
Through spirals of malcontent
fighting the noise inside my head

Like a dog I wait
to bless you now for your patience.

Mother comes out of you, father to,
and my son makes a cradle for me
with his elegant fingers.

Many backward facing faces
lead me to this grateful surrender,
Many an ancestral backbone
we have climbed as a hand-made ladder
together.

Yes, I see you now,
you are mirrored in the clear eyes of

Meditation Hour

MEDITATION HOUR


Love notes written on vellum
Music scores with smiles between lines
Written in symbols, circles or waves
When lids closed for an hour 


I’m inside a strand of hair
A protein or atomic space
Neutrality speaks like 
A pink lotus
teaches as my Muse
Its a cardamom pip


I disappear into its blackness
then the car door 
Banged !!

Earth vibrates spirals and smoke 
Making cool blue diamonds
with my splintered bygones
I absorb your racy lacy ecstasy 


Through my autumnal death
You and hibiscus fetch
the fragrance of my heart
a dart as art

Listen to echoes, it seems
through delicate voice boxes

Thought Spirals Endless

Thought spirals endless come and go
What’s it to do with us
We’re blissful in staid stillness slow
Why for would we make fuss

Come now, be a good egg
To bliss beats, shake a leg

They scar blissfulness

Rewrite the stars,
Strip the firmaments,
Empty the stacks of rain
as the world moves slow mo'
in a spherical spirals of clouds.
Let brightness confine darkness
till the days are profitably used-up,
Then nights can steal day's glory;
Spin us all for the quickie,
Let destinies actualize speedily,
Then the world can only be ours

Tornado Spirals

Churning ominous dust, an angry sky pounded it's fists that ferocious afternoon.
Draping a charcoal blanket, brooding air suddenly darkened all brightness.
Threatening winds whipped thrashes on  boulders and branches,
Spinning madly around, dizzy in it's vortex,
a tornado descended from funnel clouds.
Destruction everywhere, in vengeful rage
trembling trees uprooted, blown far away.
Rainsoaked birds fluttered, hurled at an insane
