He always finds a way
To read ten books a day

Snotty cat was as stuck up as they are ever made
She wore sunglasses and drank tea in the shade
A fashionista, her pinky finger was up in the air
She was the best dressed cat in the country of Belair
We did not dare speak, she intimidated us so
Her clothing was designer, her shades had a glow
She is a fashion plate special, she has been on a runway walk
They renamed it cat after her, and there was nary a squawk
He knows not what is good for him
You all know him, his name is Jim
Uses his class bench as his cot
What is good for him, he knows not
He likes to live in his own trench
As his cot, uses his class bench
I teach him in life how to thrive
In his own trench, he likes to live
He’s naughty, he oft breaks his limb
In life how to thrive, I teach him
Him I pity, he’s so snotty
He oft breaks his limb, he’s naughty
To me his talk seems so witty
He’s so snotty, him I pity
He makes buzzing sound like a bee

my co-workers were snippy, snotty, persnickety, uptight and mean.
I had been discounting this for some time, but could not ignore any longer.
quitting my job was the right thing for me; I did not belong with mean girls.
We rather wish that someone would
lead him to a tree.
They can be so useful
for life and death.
He might look more elegant
from a distance.
But this one decides to join us
in this bar,
sits at our table, displaying
his filthy fingernails,
his rather snotty tissues, sniffing,
so audibly, so blatantly.
Each half-hour or so he has a smoke,
so leaves the room,
permitting us to take
a deeper breath,
drawing somewhat cleaner air
into our lungs.
Ah, who has the courage to say
please go away -
though it would be better to use
some choice language?
But all we do is sit -
just hope, ho hum!

Her essence pushes people away
Showing the world her fierceness
Actually insecure
Valiant cover up
Tries to act snotty
Always alone
Arrogant
Haughty
Snob

Her essence pushes people away
Covers up bad feelings about herself
Is this just a curse that follows me around?
For I’m only five years old, three feet off the ground,
Playing inside or out, I get the sniffles bad,
I wish this was a nose I never had!
I sniffle all day, as the green slime grows,
Where it comes from? Nobody knows.
I wipe the snot on my right shirt sleeve,
It gives me somewhat of a temporary reprieve.
My mum wipes my nose with a man size tissue,
Pinching my nose hard, as if it’s a big issue.
‘Now play outside and be sure to wipe your nose!’
She says as the snot continually grows!
The slime forms on my lip, it’s sweet to taste,
Best that I lick it off, shouldn’t go to waste.
Will I ever get rid of this horrible grime?
Or will I always be saddled with this yucky slime.
There was a man so debonair
That he held his nose high in the air.
When he tripped in a pool
And looked like a fool,
He said: "I really jumped in on a dare."
Snotty haughty sea turtle.
Stuck up
Barely speaking to other sea creatures
Much ado about nothing
Snotty haughty sea turtle
Mean to others
For decades
Now trying to pretend you are not haughty?
Snotty haughty sea turtle
Waving now
Pretending you have a heart
Might as well go back into your shell.
Snotty haughty sea turtle.
Too late
Too arrogant.
Too you.
My cat is picky; my cat is persnickety.
My cat likes to play with mice; my cat's best friend is a snake.
My cat is aloof; my cat is stuck up.
My cat ignores me; my cat writes me hate notes.
My cat is snotty; my cat is snobbish.
My cat is my best friend; my cat is my only friend.
My cat has papers; my cat is a purebred.
My cat scares the neighbors, my cat scares me.
My cat is jealous; my cat is envious.
My cat watches TV; my cat critiques Michael Moore’s documentaries.
My cat is running for office; my cat is trumping him by a twenty-eight percent margin.
Why do kitty-mamas like to Cat-Up-Each-Other?
(Just between us, I would not want either of these cats).
She is taking all my friends away.
Something I commonly hear.
Daily.
And it is weird but
As soon as it happens
The victim wants no other friend
But that one.
Crazy?
Yes,
But so
Third grade!
Not happy I've reached my golden years
But one thing I am happy about
No snotty nose little brats runnin' round
Don't get what they want, they pout
Life's so tough you poor little buggers
You'll find out one of these days
It's not always about what you guys want
It's for YOUR little brats you must pay
Money for this thing, money for that
Can I borrow the car tonight
Long as you bring it back without any dents
Or else it's back to your bike
Oh and no beer stains on the back seat either
Very important client to meet
Wouldn't want him smelling like a brewery
Wining and dining him this week
Well we all go through this sooner or later
The lucky ones, their kids they did sell
The old folks with big smiles on their faces
Or else they just peed themselves
But what would we do without these guys
They add so much joy to our lives
With all the ups and down of parenthood
They add joy to our bumpy drive
