wave wave wave
a mouth an ocean
tongue slobbering like a big slobbery dog
licking my face
wave wave wave
zave mave jave
licking my face an ocean wave
mouth of the boisterous dog
vave kave bave
wave wave wave
I drown near too near
but by the dog save
and to the shore gave
or the mouth my grave
wave wave wave

“Words speak volumes”
even the few, or the one
when chosen wisely –
let us not confound
quality with quantity –
like an honest kiss
on a barren cheek
at the right time
trumps a deluge of
well rehearsed slobbering –
greening trees
blossoming meadows
we share with all
Nature bold and
brilliant, scented
fondness,
breathe in and out
exhaling blessed
necessity –
taking selflessly
from one another
enfolded, raptured
within a canopy
of Divine Light –

A show supposed to be classic
But watchers' cheap applause did seek
The actors, no exception, sick:
Long the rude point in mind shall stick...
Why choose the slobbering walker
And mimic the labored talker:
On your clothes dripping saliva
As well taught by Trainer Silver
Before a thousand eyes go limp
While a camera films: an imp;
Oh! I forgot: it's about cash
You have a chance to in banks stash;
Yet, in US this would be punished,
All of you by some guns finished!

Oh, meaty mothballs!
as opposed to mothy meatballs
Alternatively - slobbering sloth-balls!
instead of sloppy moth-calls
Stupid refrigerator!
as opposed to dumb incinerator
Alternatively - dirty toenail taster!
instead of wanton whiskey-waster
It's the start of a brand-new year
Let's raise glasses and expectations
And while we're at it
~ improve imprecations!

They shut off our power for about 3 hours
To make needed repairs they say
D'ya know how that affects our daily routine
Like our arm's been cut off half way
No heat, no lights, no computers, no telly
We might as well cash in our chips
Aware it was only from nine until noon
But my mind can't handle this blip
Anything different from my normal routine
Throws me in a kind of a dither
I get all sweaty and my eyes bulge out
My speech starts to slip and slither
I once was able to handle these disruptions
When I was young, handsome and virile
Now that I'm a slobbering vile old man
My mental capacity has fizzled
Some people suffer from a power shortage
Every single day of their lives
Got nothing to do with a disruption of power
Their ageing is in overdrive

Horrid man in Walmart
Slobbering over a 16 year old girl
Licking your teeth like a rabid dog about to make the kill
Your teeth are nonexistent
My panic is the opposite of your teeth

From across the dark veiled hills ,
A howl of anguish fills the soul with chills,
We hear it coming amidst the shadows,
And smell its malelovant purpose distinctly.
Ever closer it creeps and snarls,
Foul breath filling senses and fears,
Bringing eyes close to our deepest thoughts,
Unseen forms as wraiths in the night.
With weapons to hand ,
Tentative moves, towards the unknown,
Ready to meet head on the fear and doubt.
The battle was fierce between the two,
A fight of will and inward strength,
First one would prevail then the other,
A battle that must be won to remain sane.
Weapons of the light sliced and cut,
Gaining the ground darkness began to wain,
A last howl of anguish from its slobbering jaws,
And it was gone back to where its soul has lain,
Hidden and disguised ready to pounce.
A defeat for now sanity prevails,
Walking again down the sweetest trails,
Always on guard keeping watch and alert,
Dark dogs defeated for now,
Listen out for that anguished howl.

A slobbering smile
A loving stare
A sofa, bed and floor
Covered in hair
A morning stroll
A paw in the air
Waiting for a tummy rub
A bear with a tear
Jumping in puddles
Biting at the rain
Itching their bum on twigs
Eyeballing Great Danes
Tapping their paws
When dinner is coming
Chasing their ball
Tail constantly drumming
A subtle growl
To warn the unknown
Snoring and twitching
On her throne
A collar that jingles
As they enter the room
A snuggle
A sneeze
A fight with the broom
A nightly routine of
Coming to say goodnight
From my side to your side
They love you with all their might
For dogs they are precious
Too precious for this world
They meet you and greet you
Spinning around they twirled
The loyalty they show
Truly unbeaten
Mans best friend
Our life they sweeten..

What can we tell you?
We are all here, green, and fruitful,
even the wrecked and rabid
all our budding devils and gods
slobbering delightedly
over words,
pictures we put together
with fingers sticky with sap
childing each other,
completing one jigsaw at a time
problem solving,
problems we manufactured
in the root factories of a soft labor,
a work to keep us tightly wrapped up
in a sense of self exploration
to keep us rambunctious enough
to think we are creating something
when in fact, that ‘something’
is actually ‘us’,
and we do ‘us’ well
but when we don’t, we call that spillage
and over ripeness -
a poem.

It’s All Good
M. Griswold
120203
Slobbering kisses ain't so bad
and slippery tongues are grand to be had.
Tender touches with back sliding hands
are caressingly shivering and sensually rad.
Warm oil rubbings from head to feet
leaves one wanting for something horney to eat.
Nibbling on nobs is nastily sweet
while rustling in bushes is a tasty treat.
Hot steamy showers with scented colored soaps
brings heated bed wrestling with dripping naked hopes.
Whips and straps, tassels and ropes
bind in ways of tangled frenzied gropes.
Tickling adds rolling giggling spice.
A form of foreplay to succulently entice.
Let’s not forget that vibrating device
which can be used in any orifice to suffice.
And in closing as you knew I would
let me add just one more thing if I could.
We are all human and sex is a likelihood
so loosen up a little cause it's all good.

A radio aired an awful auld aria,
Astounding all my aged aural edifices
In eerie aura of araucaria trees
Aching angrily in a loud typhonic breeze.
My brain wanted to burrow to escape the pain
Of sounds as a warren of rabid jackrabbits
Digging to escape mangy slobbering coyotes
Howling hungrily in panting pursuit of prey.
Such a scratchy song, if played in the briny deep,
Would chase crazy-eyed kraken to the mountain tops.
Callas, Verdi and Puccini would flee their graves
For a screechy symphony of barbed wire sitars.
Praise be! The off button my shaking hands did find;
I woke up, pressing on my belly button hard.

Myriads of murmuring marine maidens
Musically musing, making mariners mad;
Floating or frolicking freely and feeding
Feverish fishermen’s fleshly fantasies.
Sensually swimming silvery seductresses
Stripping slobbering sailors of their senses.
Inveigling and inspiring them to inundate the waters
In instant insanity in pursuit of Neptune’s daughters.
To some this may come as a shocker:
Mermaids lured them into Davy Jones’ locker.

I have a confession to make
I've been kissing my dear dog Jake
Not on the lips
The slobbering I skip
He and I are now lovers and that's great

The flow of the brush
slobbering colored pigment
upon the gesso...
Emerging from the
hogs hair brush tip a minute
color avenue.
