A Lightening Storm that Sings

A sharp bang it sang,

Which struck down with a loud pang!

Jagged across the sky like a laser beam,

What a streak to see underneath;
the black skies of old!

It lighted the heavens,

And extinguished the flames.

Forever in Jahanam!

Forever in Jahannah!

That is what we are told in legends foretold.

Signs of light seep in the dark abyss!

her wings twisted and torn
should quiet herself...
that the sky held no place
for the fragile or the worn.

Yet she kept a sky tucked inside her - a 
place untouched by any hand.
At daylight she let her

I lose myself in the whispers of the wind, seeking an ancient rune.
On the paths of night, my steps echo like falling stars in flight,
Through labyrinths of dreams, I delve in search of a call so right.

In the shadow of silence, when the soul sings of unknown longings,
An ancient song rises within me, like an incantation,
In which lines of stars float, caught in the threads of the night,
And the dream envelops me like a wave of infinite, ungraspable.
In the blue of this universe, where time flows slowly,
Whispers of wind and drifting

Generations from now their achievements will be overlooked.
Due to coordinated efforts to remove them from history books.

Savagery Sings

The world alone is making me smile
left to marvel at its natural wonder.
Glowing out loud is always in style. 

On a level high above thunder,
I fly on the sunshine in my veins.
My label’s that mach five number.

When caged by what society feigns,
many forget the important things.
If you fumble? Innate wisdom remains.

A rat hurried through my feed at dawn,
past memes and headlines, each a kind
