Insubstantial
I opened the window in the door, one early morning.
and was met with a face that looked like a cloud; it
blew frost roses on the glass, they were so beautiful,
abstract, and oh, so fragile.
Years ago, by the cloister`s wall, I saw some miniature
Looking at roses, I replanted them in my garden, and they
disappeared, I thought they had died out, but this spring
They were by my wall, nodding shyly in the breeze.
As the spring turned into summer, they had no shade
and disappeared like frost roses on the window glass;
And that is ok by me, cause I know they are there just
under the earth, waiting for another spring.

DARK EYES, FAIR GOLDEN HAIR,
I saw her shyly standing there.
Ignored by all around,
Bewildered by the disco’s sound.
LIKE ME, NOT OUR PLEASURE.
Quieter ways to spend our leisure.
Nervously caught her eye
And then got talking by and by.
CHAT DELIGHT, EACH FELT GOOD,
Exactly as I’d known we would.
Talked non-stop until late
And pencilled in another date.
JUST KNEW; LONG MARRIED NOW,
Always meant to be somehow.
Gold hair I saw that night,
Just as beautiful now it’s white.

lift me up, birds of praise,
I'm sinking in the spaces
of this unholy void.
She twirls with her lace,
and momentarily paces,
this cemetery is wired
hidden in darkest grit soils.
if our passion builds a fire,
elementary of the passion
we even forget our names.
As our eyes staked to claim
awkwardly drawn together,
so newly shyly terrifying,
if the spark wasn't mystifying,
lady bugs kissing on feathers

weed on grassy slope
so unpretentious in look~
with blooms, a marvel
from derelict turf
fair blossoms shyly peek out
something amazing~
beauty springs from hidden coves
giving sweet surprise to all

Looking steadily into my shyly cloaked eyes,
His arms encircled but barely embraced me, pulling me closer.
Then slowly sank his soft and gentle hands to gracefully poise above
The life-giving Chakra at the base of my naked spine.
Heating, throbbing, at once igniting the all-creative center
Now expanded in a glorious rise from momentous peak to peak.
He made no touch to interfere with the glorious rhapsody of pure Energy.
No words were needed to break the trance or describe what only ecstasy can convey.
Oneness swirls in shades of red about our conjoined bodies,
Two atoms made sacred exploding into One as our Kundalini rises.

I couldn't recollect ! I forgot.
Lost you at one corner.
My most precious gem, I had lost !
Since then, I am loner.
Dragging myself as lifeless log.
Truly, could I forget ?
Lost you at one turn of my path
and peace left for ever.
Poem seemed to be romantic !
I'm amused on my own.
Behaved rustic, not sophistic..
Confused ! Was passion shown ?
Lost owing to own negligence,
and life turned meaningless.
Just pulling my life forcefully,
in dull sorrowful realm.
Sparks flashed on my mind suddenly -
Your dark eyes cast deep glance,
With dreamy looks you blushed shyly.
I recollect by chance !

humble feet and serving hands
entwine as energy bands
bliss pierces body vectors
all nodes willing receptors
there is no doing we do
as rapture does so renew
tip of nose joins the dance
towards whom we shyly glance
such then is our ordained fate
feeling how chakras gyrate
each breath ushering bliss rise
beheld in childlike surprise

Hope is more than wing with feathers—
It is the hush of dusk in the orchard,
Where shadows play among the branches,
And the stars slip shyly into bloom.
It is the hush of dawn on the water,
When mist clings to the lake’s quiet breast,
And lilies unfurl with trembling grace—
Hope is in the hush before the lark sings.
It is the strength of roots in the darkness,
The push of petals through winter’s frost,
The first breath of green on a stubborn branch,
Hope is the promise the heart can’t betray.
It is the hush that waits in the silence—
The hush that grows despite despair,
Hope is more than wings or feathers—
It is the hush that holds the world.

As the smiles in the cloud brighten,
a cloudburst of joy
sends gentle kisses on our rooftops,
pouring down clouded tears—
bottled-up emotions
to quench the thirsts of
humans, plants, animals... and phantoms.
The trees—
with feet rooted deep in earth—
stood humble as a worm.
The birds~
wings shyly folded to drain the rain—
could not dry-clean the leak in their nests.
Each drop of the rain
carried the smell of the earth,
as runoffs calmed the fury of a beast
threatening to devour the landscape—
along with the thunder.
Then twilight knocks—
the stream of tears halts mid-flow,
the music stops, as rain pulls up the curb;
dry rain clutches the biting wind...
to remind us: it's winter not summer.

Melody Smile
Suttle expressions
Delay, helpless pause
Shyly into a haze
A Melody Smile
Softly quiet
A simple home
Empty pages Empty rooms
Narrow to solitude
Always reading victorian books
Blushing bashfully
Just wondering
What is your name?
I pass by you all the time
So brittle like snow
So dreamy through a stained glass window
All hold all of your smile
All walk with you through whimsical clouds
A Melody Smile
A shyly girl
Breathtaking in a small town

At the animal shelter, I looked at them all
The dogs were aplenty, some large and some small.
Some of them were barking, and others looked quite meek.
Would I find a dog to take home this week?
I wanted one badly, I had almost given up,
But then I saw Noah, oh a sweet little pup.
He looked at me shyly, his eyes were quite sad.
I said, I like him, but they said he was mad!
He bites, he jumps, and is not a good choice,
How about this other one? he asked in a soft voice.
But there was something about Noah, that drew me in,
I was determined to walk him, but he did nothing but spin.
He pulled so hard, he nearly broke my arm.
The excitement was real, but he did no harm.
He finally settled down, and looked at me deep.
Like he knew what I was thinking, he was mine to keep.
I brought Noah home, and we got to know each other,
He is my friend for life, I am his new mother.

After a day of rain she shyly peers at me from behind her curtains
and shows out, undresses for me in this early evening hour
Her gown of fluffy clouds lay atop the distant hills
She stretches her lovely arms across the horizon
And paints the sky
Like a drunkard in need of intoxication I stumble quickly to bathe in her light before the night comes to call

Whispers of an enchanted deer wafted through the oaks and the lilies
The exquisite forest came alive with new fantastical creatures
Roses are always doubters, so they disagreed with their thorns
But most of the flowers were open to the rumor, eager to see the deer
A gentle breeze preceded the deer into the thicket of florals
The deer was lovely, with scrolls, and beautiful nearly pastel colors
I love her, the daisies said/
A testament to the truth; daisies love everything.
The deer looked around approvingly, she enjoyed new places.
This forest was exquisitely beautiful; she could be happy here.
A brown stag with fourteen points looked her over pronouncing her queen.
She shyly told him she expected to earn her place like the other creatures.
The weeds were thrilled; a deer with integrity; this was a welcome relief.

Love sends a signal (so intangible)
through time removed and space—more faraway
than high heavens, sun, spark of moody day
when Night her might has made immoveable.
The bold heart beats, but shyly (:¡magical!:)
hides a gross ache—(perhaps gone quite astray)—
of love destroyed by space and time. A ray
has passed and left behind a palpable
shadow.—but time’s the healer, space the fact,—
the proof? the medicine of poetry.
So know it truly, bear it in your heart:
without your gift, my art could not be art.
I mean not to entangle again what’s we—
simply I reminisce—(love? I react).
