After the Rain

After a day of rain she shyly peers at me from behind her curtains and shows out, undresses for me in this early evening hour Her gown of fluffy clouds lay atop the distant hills She stretches her lovely arms across the horizon And paints the sky Like a drunkard in need of intoxication I stumble quickly to bathe in her light before the night comes to call
