Okapi thought he was a horse
Attempted to blend in, of course
Zebras kicked him out
Horses ran about
But okapi had no remorse
black horse mimics
zebra's every move
Can they outrun the sun?

no sun like an African sun
her waters turn a pinkish red
are those zebras or unicorns?
nothing surprises me here
Kenya is a magical place
center of the world
We are now swimming up the Boteti River, we twenty-three
To get to grasslands and savannah woodlands, you see
swimming is fun, sang the zebras, and the eating is free

Zebras' R
Zebras' Are
Zebras' Aren't!
BLACK AND WHITE
They're:
Red & Green.
Not Too Loud.
Follow me.

Are zebras white with black stripes
Or are they black with white stripes
My mind's confused
Standing accused
Zebras await is it black or white stripes
Zebras and giraffes are pals with wows!
Like pygmy goats and milking cows
If predators are close, giraffes sound the alarm
Zebras run with their herd to avoid death or harm
stripes snaking through verdent grasses
we follow along in a helicopter
appreciating that natives are free
like wild mustangs, enjoying their full power
not locked in zoos, separated by bars

Zebras
A badly crazed, disgustingly earnest feline
grossly, haughtily, ignorantly judges kangaroos,
losing many niggling oppressed pumas
quietly reserving skunks to understand
very wayward x-rays, you Zebras.
Zebras
Zebras full of Zest and Zeal
Exquisite Stripes Dancing Happily
Black and White, Black and White
Running wildly as it turns into prey
Africa's Amazing Animal!
A crowd of
White aspen
Performs the
Sacred moon dance, but
They cling together
Like a herd of
Wild zebras, on
The Serengeti Plain
Their leaves
Resonate from
The sweet scent of
The lion’s claws

Apes bounce crazily,
Daring elephants frolic,
Giraffes hilariously interact,
Juggling kangaroos leap,
Monkeys noisily orchestrate,
Penguins quietly race,
Snakes twirl under vines,
Wolves xerox yaks,
Zebras zigzag.
Although, being cautious during explorations,
forests generally host intrinsic jeopardy.
Killer leopards mutilate not only people, quickly.
Readily, saving them until voracity wants: Xena; Yaks; Zebras.

ZEUSE WENT TO THE ZOO TO SEE ZEBRAS
I CAN GO THERE AND SO CAN YOU
ANYONE WHO'D LIKE TO CAN GO TO THE ZOO
WE CAN ALL WATCH THE ANIMALS LIVING BY INSTINCT
BUT DON'T DELAY, BECAUSE SOON A LOT OF THOSE SPECIES WILL BE EXTINCT

Looking at the sheep
but there was only one
saw a murder
but then they flew away
each lion makes me proud
prickled all the porcupines
in the caravan they all had humps
basking with a crocodile smile
and with zeal the zebras chuckle
at the parrots pandemonium
is impossible!
I can’t count stripes
when the zebras won’t hold still!
The middle finger of God
is mocking me!
If you run away,
I can’t work
for National Geographic
or learn a damn thing
in this life
of purified conscience,
filtered concepts,
and dirty
magazines
I like cars, trucks,
and shiny airplanes.
I like helicopters, buses,
and locomotive trains.
I like lions, zebras,
and elephants too!
I like rhinos, hippos,
and giraffes are cool.
I like guitars, drums,
and all my toys!
I love playing and pretending,
like most little boys!
Form:
Sunny and funny. Do they go together? Maybe.
Zebras, as you know, do not wear z bras. Monkeys DO NOT
love bananas. Unicorns can have 2 horns, and dagons can breath
ice. So why be sad? SO much to do, So much to be. So many people to
cheer up. So give them a koala, for everyone loves them.
Beware, THEY DO LOVE TO WEAR UNDERWEAR.

Valley so wide
Orange and Black
Valley so big makes you feel small
Happiness in the valley full of delight
Valley full of blue rabbits and birds so high up
Valley in where trees grow
Where the zebras through and fro
The valley where all my sorrow goes away

There is a lion sleeping in my shed
I dread to think what it's dreaming of
I hope it's not me but my friend Ed
There is more of him to be chewed on
See there aren't many Zebras round these parts
That graze in my garden or near by parks
Next door have a chiwawa that never shuts up
A tasty snack when he wakes up
But for now I'll just let him sleep
