Premium Member When Words Fail

Times may come when words will fail ~~
Emotions will run high, and tears prevail.

Define love
Words fail us
We dissolve

What is God
Love and light
Say no more

To ascend
Slow down thought
Gentle touch

Awkward

A clumsy encounter

Where words fail

Keeping a distance

With those present

Abetting a slow

Riveting

Demise of dignity

Just An Empty Shell

Sad
Does not
Begin to
Express my thoughts
Words fail to explain the emotion felt

The abject disappointment when the last
Pistachio
Is but an
Empty
Shell

Words Fail To Dictate

Words fail to dictate
the feeling of thirst for love
                                              loved one's no response

The Indian guru's mantra of the day, tho' somewhat strange, goes this way... 'When words fail and at a loss, contemplate aural hygiene with transcendental floss.'

Intense Words By: Tom 2-6-2020 Intense words obliterate silence. When we utter words so profound they require explaining, perhaps they’re best left unsaid. "where words fail, music speaks" Hans Christian Anderson

My Secret

I hide behind the combination of letters I put on paper
Unable to speak when I am close to you, near you in person
When I see you I lose all train of thought
I am silenced, words fail me, cease to exist
I am enamored, enchanted, without speech

if words fail to find me, and silence calms the sea, harmony, somehow becomes lost in the wind, not able to create a tender symphony- ever again - there will always be, music in me with its soft soothing melody

Reasons Not To Visit Dachau

It would be like a Cessna hitting a mountain;
Weltschmerz; rain falling on a tin roof.
So let me work my garden with burnt hands,
Thoughtless as a spade in cold loam.
Let all words fail as the day reduces.
We all love the holes in which we put our heads.

Crush

Words fail
To describe
This sensation,
That keeps me smiling,

A stupid little smile,
That makes everyone
About me
Think I’ve gone mad

What I smile for,
Giggle even,
That sensation,
Its my little secret,

Though it’s probably
Just an
Infatuation
Right?

once impulsive now

deserted forsaken
                  cast aside
jilted
stranded
              rejected
dumped
ditched
                 unused

neglected
             idle
                unoccupied
uninhabited

I stand empty

      words fail me

For the love of words

Deep in love with words,
I keep digging through the day,
Although words fail me,
Still can't help reverberate,
I am a structured poem !

Music

A melody to lift the heart
Let it soar in every part.

Wraps around you and
enfolds you in it's
complex web of sensations.

To lull you and ease your spirit.
Notes like cascading falls,
That surround you with
a life of their own.

A way to say things
When words fail.

I Cling To the Almighty

When words fail me
When sleep escapes me
When troubles torment me
I cling to the Almighty

Though words fail me
Though she forsakes me
Though memories maim me
I cling to the Almighty

When words fail me
When grief besets me
When trials torment me
I cling to the Almighty

Words Fail Me

thoughts of you release my light
tonight light draws your beauty out
but a fool was birthed this night
thoughts of you release my light
words keep me from your present sight
why can’t I find a word to shout
thoughts of you release my light
tonight light draws your beauty out

Words Fail

How does one convey
a past not meant to last?
How does one explain
a numbed brain?
How can emotions
simply disappear?
Why do we turn against
those we hold dear?
When will our life
as we knew resume?
Back to normal
can we assume?
End the desire
oneself to impale?
Words fail.

Premium Member Almost Empty

Ask me again,
Let me tell you:
Mind speaks in vain,
Observe the cues;
Sales talk promise:
Touch on empty.
Expound vain gist,
Messy story;
Paint on ugly,
Tension soaks stress;
Yes sincerely,
Note sad progress;
Offer to dwell,
Words fail to sell.

Words fail here
Pain floods near

Surge knows fear
Pain grabs dear

Poise sans cheer
Pain hurls tears

Touch hurts deep
Pain blunts sleep

Joke now pokes
Pain stabs yoke

Too late now
Pain knows how

Dark firms spark
Pain strikes mark

Words fail here
To tell of pain,
Words sans cheer
Fail again.

Hurts sink well
In refrain,
Hurts now tell
Of deep pain.

Feel the hurts
That cut deep,
So much dirt
Where pain weeps.

Come to terms
With unease,
Pain moves germs
In flat tease.
