When Words Fail

Well...I've lived through worse times, Caren. I think of Vietnam and all those young men and women who never got to come home. Lots of tears when I was growing up, which is why I am such an advocate of anti-bullying. The years my mother was suffering and dying of cancer. I don't know. I like what Anne Frank said.

Thank you, Alexis. It was, I believe, the first two lines of a poem I wrote...and then I thought, those two lines stand alone with great meaning for lots of people. Thanks for your thoughtful comment.

It must be frustrating, but you do a wonderful job with the English language. I speak English (American-style), Spanish, and a smattering of French. I'm a great promoter of learning languages. I think they are an important step toward better understanding internationally.
