Me, the contrarian,
	hardcore vegetarian,
Would rather eat wombat snouts
	than brussels sprouts....

Premium Member Homer the House Cat
He called himself Homer the house cat
And mostly ate tuna with pork fat
After lunch he'd meow
'Nearly upchuck his chow!
And grin like an overstuffed wombat!...

My Pet Wombat
Pat, pat, pat,
He's my wombat,
Wee Winky is his name,
Pat, pat, pat,
Wee Winky sat,
He really is quite tame.

Stroke, stroke, stroke,
He's just awoke,
Winky's such a sleepy head,
Stroke, stroke, stroke,
He's a hairy bloke,
A burrow is his bed....

Where a dingo, with crushed skull, lies, a stout round creature backs up from the entrance of his burrow. His sturdy rump has saved him, and his worst enemy has been rear-ended by a wombat! Premium Member The Wombat
Where mountains rise and forests grow
the slow wombat digs his home.
It lives in fear of foes and those
who deride its shape and gait.
It roams the land, where green abounds,
when full darkness falls around.

Premium Member Man Versus Beast
Nary one lizard is curious about trains
Nor are kangaroos hopping mad about Ukraine

No wombat worries about crime in New York
And even pigs are unconcerned about shortages of pork

Name me one rhino who’s learned how to cook
  Or a hippo who’s written a book

Even dolphins don’t go golfin,’ and
The only Tiger on the links is a Woods

Fragile physically though we humans may be
We want to know what goes on globally...

Stuck In the Membrane
Here my guttural wombat cry
I'm envisioning a life without you...
This ridiculous school bus pandering-
Let the mafia emerge from underground
Shell the streets down
To choke this gasoline vibe

What were you hoping this time around?
Let the karma ferris wheel fly off the boardwalk
And skittles pepsi cola families
Hit the rebound
Your sucking the atmosphere dry

I'd rather dig a grave than participate
I'll be a carpenter bee
To your massive unparalleled stupidity...

Premium Member A Short Drive
A couple of 'roos
A joey standing forlorn by it's unmoving mother
A few wallabies
A brick of a wombat
An Echidna
A heap of budgies
A raven
Some pretty green grass parrots
Cockies and galahs
A baby magpie
A snake
Some frogs
Someone's cat
A stray dog
All broken
Squashed flat
Mangled
Bloated
Instant death or slow painful bleeding out
In agony
All those battered bodies
The sadness of it all
The need for speed
Creating this meaningless road toll
And no-one seems to care...
