A wild flower child
Was so careless for short while.
Then so suddenly
Something broke her lovely smile;
Withered through a fate so vile.

Wild Flower

The wild flower

the wild
flower
loudly
flourishes

but deaf
sober
intoxicated
by cities

we cannot
perceive the
miraculous
rumble

Your Fall recurrence,

                                     sprinkling lawns multicolor.

                                          But your pedals drop.

Premium Member A Blazing Star

A comet was once known as a blazing star.
Now she’s a wild flower in meadows afar.
Sometimes called a button snake root, a floral czar.
A brilliant center of admiration, bit of a quasar.

Must Come the Comer

wisdom is wisdom
though from rustic life;

flower is flower
though a wild flower;

fragrance and knowledge must come
though nobody gives importance!

                                 Your wild carrot chewable chow.

                                         But hemlock poisons.

Your Heart Breathes The Air

Your
heart
is
a wild flower
that
breathes the air
with
pedals
that
beat open and close
like
the heart
inside your soul
through
kindness and care
only
while
your
heart breathes the air

Ferrum 26

Modern-man is imprisoned
-inside iron-
he does not know what is
outside
-the self, he has lost
the beauty of a wild flower,
the friendship of wind,
the true acceptance of another,
only to win;
hard metal discs.

A Wild Flower When Smiles

Not a soul for miles
In lea of a lonely isle,
And a flower smiles,
Seen or not, liked or not, smiles,
It’s flower’s nature to smile.

Open Space

Efflorescence in a period of time
As Chicory plant spreads
While arboretum is filled with newly watered seeds
The wild-flower in all its glory blooms

The gentility of the open space soiled
Polluted by the lack of responsibilities

Premium Member A New Surprise

A bright blooming fire
From the green grass in the lawn
                          A new wild flower
Here, spread by seeds in the wind
Each year there’s a new surprise

Premium Member how I loved her

There is warmth.

And then,

A Wild Flower.

Rain comes.

Then, an early frost.

The Wild Flower is gone.

Nobody notices, Nobody cares

Nobody remembers.

But,

Somewhere far away

A Wild Flower

Remembers the warmth.

Wild Flower

My heart feels like wild flowers
bursting from ash
ready to show you how vibrant
only you can make me feel
your kisses leave me weak and
your laughter makes me smile
a sound I can replay like an old cassette
I close my eyes and I'm there
with you in the night I wish
would never end

Sharp Words

You make me numb with the sharp words of your tounge
 hasty, bitter yet sweet
this love is firey and fierce
I'm like a wild flower trapped in your barbwire
so razor sharp my wounds are now scar's
for no longer i bleed, you have drained me
but sparingly i weep as your power impales me...

For Love of the April Wind

song in warm wind
fanciful conversation
sound of melting heart
sunlight waking season
wild flower unfurls
colors of delight
poetic life
dreams of spring
life poetic
delight of colors
unfurls flower wild
waking season sunlight
heart melting of sound
conversation fanciful
wind warm in song

Premium Member a nap in the sun

I lie in the grass
after it has been mowed
the sun is bright

I like staring into it
until I think my eyeballs will go blind

I close them
give a long sigh
there is a wild flower to my right

I pluck it and slowly close my eyes again
ready for a nap in the sun
in the grass
there is nothing better
