a nap in the sun

I lie in the grass
after it has been mowed
the sun is bright

I like staring into it
until I think my eyeballs will go blind

I close them
give a long sigh
there is a wild flower to my right

I pluck it and slowly close my eyes again
ready for a nap in the sun
in the grass
there is nothing better
