Plighting Our Troth Or Trothing Our Plight
We plight our troth for little but froth
To be whelmed in plight, ashes and sackcloth
The phrase is plain but blind we remain
It is hard to enjoy a stone broth!...

Not Good Enough
Dimmissed, defective, unimportant,
Discounted, unworthy,
Unnoticed, undervalued,
Guilt-ridden, under-employed,
Underpaid, misunderstanding,
Unempathetic, overwhelmed,
Under duress, under siege,
Over-whelmed,
Over-dose, undertaker, underground

Self Torture
My mind is a whirling vortex.
Over whelmed with never ending thoughts.
An endless tunnel of torture.

Oh how cruel life can be!
Or is it that we just can't let go of the past?

To day is a new day, Yet I dwell on yesterday.
The pain I place upon myself.
Dwells within us all!...

A Raindrops Kiss
R aging fire burns inside
As another promise is broken tonight.
Invisible your feelings become
Never should have trusted anyone.
Disappointed in myself
Ruminating over the events that took place.
Over whelmed by harsh words spoken.
Perfection was never expected
Sending tears in a raindrops kiss, to show how much you are missed....

Views
I like to read the Real Estate
To see what money buys.
Of course, I’m never moving
But it’s fun to fantasize.

This week’s had an apartment
That there’s no way I would choose
Since the “Cons” in the description
Listed “underwhelming views.”

To pay that kind of money,
What would mean a lot to me
Would be looking out the windows
Feeling whelmed by what I’d see....

MOON IN DARK SKY

Half aglow Maroon Moon on ebon night
in charcoal turquoise sky to glisten, glaze
casting soft sober polite glance yet, bright.
Whelmed and mesmerized I am to gaze.

Pristine peace in state of serenity.
    Soul resonating on eternity.

Torn up by tearZ
Sorrow-whelmed and sad
Tearing me apart by thoughts
Shedding tranquil tears…

Conquered my demons
I’m stronger than I realize
I can face my fears…

Nightmares haunt me so
Scaring me into sadness
Ditched the world of woe…

True, living a lie
My fantasy is to be
With you, stay here please

Drowning in my tears
Then, I feel joyous and glad
Grief turns to relief . . ....

Crowned Dead Queen
“Agora é tarde Ines é mor”
Ire, Revenge clouded Pedro‘s heart.
Death separated the lovers apart.
Seeking a punishment to fit the crime,
Heart pulled from one’s chest,
Heart pulled from one’s back.
Those who wronged him were mourned in shrouds.
Love was a weakness in the realm.
Souls died, lovers whelmed.
Ines de Castro’s tears stained the river.
Thy tragedy crowned dead queen shall live forever....

Unbearable Away....
Although optimism is there
Pessimism we also share

In times such as, a day like today
Poetry takes unbearable away

Over whelmed between work and home
Our minds all need some place to roam

Everyone feels hopeless at times
Magical words heal us with rhymes

We are divine, our lives are a test
Allow poetry to cleverly jest~

Witty remarkable writing indeed
Can sooth irreparable souls in need...

Inner Struggles
I stand Isolated
I wreak of defeat
Yet,I'm still fit
Stiff but swift

Undeniably persistent
but stubbornly indifferent
Child of Karma
Over-whelmed by my forebears acts

I crawled into crossroads
not on my own accord
but here i am
Here,i find my feet

Showered by the yield
Inspired by the good
Stunned by the dark
Easy a choice it seems

Why then do i waiver?
when its in black and white
bu neither colour suit me
On this fence i'll remain...

I Want You
Long before I know what to say or do
I met you
You graced me with the sweetest smile and said "muy bonito"
You sent chills through my body
I didn't know what to think or say
I just smiled
I had never felt like this in my life
Over whelmed with feelings an I just met you
I knew then I never wanted to lose you

In a few short months i feel so hard
An as fast as I feel I screwed it up
I still want you
I still love you
I miss you so much...

CRESCENT MOON

Little girl whelmed on crescent Moon to descry.
As if bright luminous boat to float in sky.
She is dreaming of a pair of wings to fly.
She wishes to row silvery boat soaring up high.

REGRETS

We all are confronted
Sometimes in our life
When living’s too tough
Death dealing the strife.

Over whelmed with yesterdays
That appear late at night
Some memories of the past
A painful sad sight.

We long for the moments
And what could have been
And the folks that we love
Regrets…a sad sin.

It’s a sin to waste time
To live life too fast
So bundle up memories
The kind that will last.

Whelming Autumn

Me whelmed! Watched butterflies to fly
    fluttering wings! Frolic and free.
     Blossoms swinging petals in glee.
     Sunny day! Cerulean sky.
     Outdoor romance: Lovers may try.
     Me whelmed.

   Auburn Autumn shining in spree.
  Chirping sterlings-sparrows : Swift, spry.
With glass blades dawn-dews making tie.
    Cheerful children making merry.
   Me whelmed.

Forgetful
Forgetful

I know all the trouble my life has seen
Does that give another the reason to be mean?
I'm not over whelmed; I don't even like spending time alone
So if I'm ok with the invasion of my space
Why are you the one looking in my face?
Maybe if I just withdraw completely
I won't care if I've delivered things neatly
Should I remember I have a purpose?
If you had a choice to listen would you,
Or should you be the only one plentiful,
In that case I'll be forgetful!...

She wishes to row silvery boat soaring up high.
She is not fairy but girl on Earth to sigh!
She stares at glistening Moon to say ‘Hi!
Moon soon glances at girl and winks, saying ‘Bye!’
