The walls are closing in.
People walk on by without seeing me.
They talk right through me.

I Said Bye

I said bye
So walk on by
What I said was no lie
Please don't ask why
You just weren't my kind of guy
And that is why today
I say,
Goodbye

Shallow waters;
Offen I just walk on by;
I see myself flying;
Falling from the sky;
Shallow waters raindrops fall;

Walk on by

Walk on by
The park
Walk on by
The house of God
Walk on by
The bookstore
Walk on by
The road to success
Walk on by
The road to freedom
Because it is available
To anyone that wants it

Stay don’t go Not yet

Not yet, let the night stand still,
The heart still beats against its will.
A fleeting smile, a silent gaze,
Is all I need to set ablaze.
Just walk on by, just smile once more,
And I’ll ask for nothing more.

Its Nothing But the End

you tare me down
you make me cry
you think its alright
as you just walk on by
yah you say you need time
but maybe the time has just ran out
maybe its over
maybe its done
maybe its the end of everything
that we ever was.

The Lost Ones

Do you heard them sigh
As people walk on by
And feel them without
Seeing them about

They are still hang around
Looking for somewhere to be bound
But confusion is so bare
When you find you aren’t there.

Toy Town

A smile is illicit in this city
Where policemen hang their hats
On the beaten bodies of little boys
And bribes
And just not giving a s**t about whoever
Whatever
It's not their problem
Just leave em how ya found em and

Stripped Naked and Balled

Striped Naked And Balled

Striped naked and balled
our nation is gonna crawl
who can stand tall in this society fueled by greed
low morals and children starving to death
right out in the streets
think our father cannot see
walk on by
nobody listens to me

Help me—
I’m losing my hold,
and so is the life I carry.

This plea isn’t empty,
this struggle isn’t obscured.
But you walk on by,
each face a silhouette,
each footfall loud as my moans.

I’m submerged in a wave
that cannot bear my weight.
Please,
just one hand,
before I fade entirely.

How Can I Help

How can I help
as you walk on by
A few simple words?
A friendly smile?

What can I do
to brighten your eyes
A few words of wisdom?
A gentle hug?

How may I assist
to make your day easier
A simple walk?
A night on the town?

How can I
be let into your life
A few messages?
A conversation?

Now it's your turn
to let me try

A Different Pace

Out of sight, isn’t out of mind
Out of place don’t mean you don’t belong
Out of pocket don’t mean you’re not rich
Out of tune don’t mean
It’s not our song
Out of style don’t mean
You ain’t got class
Out of steep don’t mean
I’ll walk on by
Out of luck just means
It’s not our time
Out of reach doesn’t mean
That we can’t try

Retail

You hang on a rail
Poised in the window.
Flaunt yourself to passers by.

They gawp at you
Then walk on by.

You start to feel cheap
No one cares anymore
They want to swap you
For a newer model.

They move you to the back
You've sunk to their level.

Few people try you on.
Your last year's fashion.
Your on sale.

By lakeside path
Breeze strays enough

Wind hurls dry leaves
As gifts to give

I walk on by
Attend to sighs

A stray thought finds
Sans peace of mind

A lone tear drop
Ends my flip-flop

I come to meet
The fear I greet

No much is said
With silence paid

Premium Member Juno doesn't like my wheel

Juno doesn’t like my wheel;
not sure I comprehend the deal.
She greets me when I walk on by,
but on the wheel I think I’d die
if only for that flimsy fence;
it really doesn’t make much sense.
The wheel invokes her sense of chase
and I would surely lose that race.
No, Juno doesn’t like my wheel,
and I’d not like to be her meal.

Color and Curls

I said I was letting go
but I still don't know
which way to go
Hopefully we will see
I'm afraid to continue
as I try to make
the lines meet
Color and curls
can change the world
and turn me into
a different girl
I'm less afraid
and fighting hard
from shrinking back
A curious eye
as I walk on by
and I don't even know who you are

Premium Member I'M Fine

I’m fine!!
No really…
Just fine!
No worries…
Go ahead
Just walk away…
See, I’m smiling

Sorry,
What’s that you said?
There is a pooling of red
Underneath my blouse?

Oh this?
It's nothing
It’s just
The blood trickling down
From the gash in my heart
That your words just made
Nothing really…
I’m fine!
Just walk on by!

Walk on by as I sit upon a ledge of self-destruction.
I seek no sympathy, just a hand to hold and to pull me from the edge.
I am deserving Aren't I?
Those so-called words they forcefully allege

Stepping forward by myself
Never will I follow the leader, But this I will instead,
Lead my own path that's right for me
A life lived astray I pledge

My Name Is Nothing

my name is nothing
i live in fear of everything
i enjoy drinking pickle juice and burning trash
my favorite vacation spot is to myself
my favorite hobby is by myself
what i aspire to be is an example of all that you will not ever do in your lifetime
if you want to connect with me, then just walk on by and say nothing
i promise you, i will understand....

Eerie light of the night The moon casts a shadow A pumpkin glows so bright More than what I allow There’s a hooting owl near I can hear him sing I need to visit a mighty seer And see what she’ll bring Lanterns show off their glow Where skeletons walk on by Halloween is more than you know It’s a great time, I don’t lie

God's Acre

Darkness envelops like giant wings
Heart thumping eyes unfocused,
Hearing nothing silent as a graveyard,
Under a misty moon a dark shape looms,
Grey, solid, shiny marble it's a cold tomb,
Paying respects with a nod then walk on by,
Respect to all those that are long gone,
All is clear the gate clangs shut,
The key turns in the lock,
Darkness envelops the graveyard once more

Premium Member The Haunting

Abandoned houses are meant for exploring, I am way too curious to walk on by; and don't mind the creaking, slopping old flooring, but while inspecting this house it seemed to sigh. I could hear rain pouring and the wind roaring, and from somewhere deep pigeons began to fly; then I saw her float all wispy down the stairs, and I ran so fast I knocked over old chairs.

The Homeless

I watch as you sit alone- dejected
many chose not to see you, nor
to look upon your tear stained face.

We do not know your story-lest we judge
or from where you came-it matters not
although you are a stranger to me-seeking shelter from the rain.

I could help to ease your suffering- show a friendly face,
or I like so many could walk on by, but I think-
'there by the grace of God go I'

Premium Member The Grumpy Toad

As I walked along Old Rine Road
I walked on by a grumpy toad
Ribbit, ribbit he croaked to me
Please move along and leave me be
If you want to see a frog
There, he lay... beneath that log
Feed him a fly or a tasty gnat
Or feed him both to get him fat
Ribbit, ribbit... he croaked his song
Ribbit, ribbit... just move along
Walk on by- leave me, alone
As I rest upon, my comfy- stone
