Premium Member Bombing In Mumbai

Was it him?
No,
his brothers
tied grenades.
on dead black birds
heaved them high.
to fly, wings tied back,
up to a third story balcony.

Rage Uprising

Urges to kill rises like oceans,
And burns within like hellfire.
Consuming then parting as fast as it came,
And leaving nothing but a void to fill.

Uprising

From aquifer be low
Break surface
Babbling babbling upwell
Plumos in addy.
Purest Earthblood
Clear clean simplicity
Flow cool and true
Always your level
Quietly condially unremitting

Premium Member A Red Uprising

a wealth of rubies
cardinals among berries
red hibiscus bloom

crimson sun sinking
leaving vivid trails of fire
on scarlet roses

dragonflies emerge
going everywhere, silent
on soft carmine wings
Form: Haiku

Premium Member Angst

witnessing onset of dread
if we but choose to wait
doing nothing, just looking
we see the uprising abate

without our soul’s power
thoughts cannot exist
so know we are to blame
if heart contractions persist
Form: Rhyme

Hierarchy

Violence under anarchy
Anarchy under my screams
Screams under a mental breakdown
Breakdown under chronic daydreams
Dreams under an uprising
Uprising under retribution
Retribution under pain
Pain under God
God under Me.

Premium Member April bombshells

as soon as april is upon us
bulbs mushroom into beauties
the snow is barely melted
everywhere a feast to see
spring has worked its magic
with an uprising of tulips
in every shape and colour

The New World

Christ bearing Dove, wind-blown, sail
On, beyond the Flood's deep, to
Land. In nativity's bay,
Under the low sun rising,
Maria sinks, childbearing.
Between the Virgin and land,
Uprising from whale's belly,
She bears Jonah to the day.

Premium Member Treasures At Sunup

On dawn skies, peaches
drifting by sable shadows
at coastal sand dunes
Precious gold between my toes
Blue roses on the wild sea

Fading stars, sequins
Turquoise at the horizon
Citrine golden hour
of the fresh breath of the wind
and the gemmed birds uprising

Premium Member Mindful Eye Blissful Heart

reflect awhile on our daily routine
cognition of objects seen and unseen
stuporous habits that bind and confine
as in our comfort zone we so recline

as we look around at life in motion
the uprising of thought and emotion
do we dwell always in a happy space
tranquil, blissful, with no puzzles to lace

Premium Member Pharaoh's Demise

For freedom he wasn't equipped
The mighty Mubarak has slipped
While Egypt did look
On Twitter and Facebook
His pyramid up side down flipped

Egypt's army with cash is flushed
And the uprising this weight has crushed
A revolt can't seethe
When the masses can't breathe
So the cry for freedom's now hushed

A Valentine Poem

(fiction.contest poem)
Love is blind
And undenying
Nervousness uprising
Trying to make this romance satisfying
Candle light dinner in display
Flowers and champagne or wine
Which you prefer
Music play our favorite song
Our eyes met and now I'm in sweat.
For it's Valentine and we only do this once a year.

Analytical Green

Analytical Green
Is Putrid
Spent to fast
Gained too slow
Maybe it's Olive
Or seafoam green
No matter the color
It is our uprising
Into a vast dominion
Of analytical green
Pea green
Just like vomit
The things that make
Us puke
The things we gain
To lose
Emerald like the
Eyes on the back
Of a dollar bill

Warsaw Ghetto Uprising / Der Warschauer Ghettoaufstand

Innocent people forced
Into an inhumane Ghetto
While being Jewish

Admiration for the fighters
In the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising

-------------------------------------------------

Unschuldige Menschen
Gezwungen in ein unmenschliches Ghetto
Nur weil sie Juden waren

Hochachtung für die Kämpfer
Im Warschauer Ghettoaufstand

Hayfield

Sky color shades hue
red yellow orange blue
insects click birds sing
trees leaves cling
green summer pleasure
gold harvest treasure
weeping-willow hill
far removed autumn chill
morning mist rising
soul uprising
coffee brewing dark
porch waking dog bark
cornfield full fine haul
yard there cut wall
rest invites shade tree
here farm life free

Dandelion Uprising

Tarmac erupts, pushed by such a force that the crust splits to reveal life unfurling. How could such fragile leaves exert such power? A surface rolled hard by the work of men to make a path has been defied. The dandelions raise as a green flag their leaves, the sign of nature's strength soon to celebrate in gold, all a buzz.

Unsurpressed Uprising

She haunts my dreams
She is not what she seems
She is my Maud
She has a grab on my heart
She reeled me from the start
She is my Helen
She has turned away from me
She denied my plea
She is my Venus
She posseses my soul
She denied me quite cold
She is my Pysche
Yet I still wish for her love
And hope it will be ordained from above

If everyone truly understood our banking and money systems,
there would be an unprecedented global unified uprising,
a full blown out worldwide scale revolution,
before tomorrow morning.
Unfortunately, many don't bother with higher learning,
so the powers that be who rule the monetary systems,
continue ruling over all of us, never questioned, unchanging.

Revolution!

Time for Revolution!
spread the revelation.
Governmental evolution,
blessed elation!

With strange knowledge of fresh relation,
we'll overthrow the oppressive regime!
Our fiery souls burning with titillation!
we can't fail as a team.

But beware, dear philosophers, uprising is no picture of violet,
scarred spirits, forever changed, with images of the violent.
Form: Rhyme

Bearing of Blitheness

Blitheness bears itself boldly by day,
Surmounting the summit of separative sufferance.
Ridges and ranges below bow in adoring array,
Where homage is payed to the uprising utterance.

Blitheness bears itself blandly by night,
Mollifying the wounds of the worried and the wronged.
Rills and rivulets ripple rosy in sight,
Where brutality is isolated and humanity thronged.
Form: Rhyme

Owned All To You

Pray like it's a noise
Unto God's ear
Hope as it becomes a voice
The Almighty loves to hear

Every morning is a prove
Our waking uprising love
Hopeless darkness night brought
Power that restore our hope and thought

Each running day
While we pray
May our sins be forgiven
Cement our hopes in heaven

Protection is a task
You furnish as we ask
Only your love
Can truly get us preserve

Give Me Back My Time

I'm planting myself between reason and stoicism
All the odious black stuff is coming back
like oxide fillings on the factory floor
Some see a new uprising happening soon
Give me back my time
which is laying on the ledge
within an inescapable air hole
digesting all the pain that's here to stay
The harvest of disavowal
by the chagrin lady
except I have listened too far
and the people have spoken

Crossing the Deaf

A siege had an agenda
for a suicide match.
Treat him with dignity.

A proxy face of a serial
adultery. The collateral damage
will not be undone.

The aggressor denies the scrutiny.
You will find some upheaved
boats in his hideout.

There cannot be any deniability
for a long legged journey
towards the hot coals.

The battle for the lost glory
has begun between two moons.
one in sky, other in uprising.

Premium Member Perfect Day

I've never had a perfect day
but I've always known it's on the horizon
There's forever a part of me
blind that there's hope in the sun rising
I'll never stare too closely
as I'll not see what each day is devising
I've got to just wait for it
what I've not expected is most surprising
A tell tale sign I'm obvious
that I'm not seeing the day is disguising
If it's up to fate to decide
my perfect day includes it's own uprising
