FAITH in you never changes
Because, in this unreliable world I’m feebled
But i’m fearless with you...

You'Re a Man
you're a cheat,
you're unreliable,
you're a fake,
you're a liar,
you're a heartbreaker,
you're a complication,
you're a dissappointment,
you're a man....

Vicars
There once were two elderly vicars
Who had unreliable tickers
But they perked up no end
When they saw a lass bend
And got a good view of her knickers...

Or Am I
Stalled out completely on an abandoned road
Phone service is left unreliable
The nearest town is miles away
Karma has finally done its due diligence
Mysterious cries echo throughout the corn field
Just a loner on a lonely road---
Or am I?...

Falling Short
Needing again to find the
words to convey—where
did the need come from?

Unreliable thoughts that
birth the damnedest
feelings yet lack the
cognizance to see
reality—

it hurts to breathe
when all I can do is
exhale and anticipate
failures—

I'm tired of needing
Meaning.
I'm sick of
Falling Short....

The Unpoem
unreachable dreams
of heroes unsung
unfeeling screams
of hearts come undone
              unreliable sources
              speaking the unmentionable
              undeniable forces
              advocating the unfathomable
unraveling of the mind
when truth is uncovered
unquestionable this find
previously undiscovered...

Death the Silent Lover
Death the silent lover
always near but far
dedicated to his work
unreliable but faithful
he waits today
but hurries tomorrow
sees, hears his lover
but lover sees him not
he waits as lover feeds
but when he comes
swallows lover wholesale

This silent listener
seeing with eyes closed
hearing with ears blocked
precarious unpredictable
he is!...

Fallacy of Fairness
I'm drowning in it
Drifting here and there
All this emotion
A life of chaos
But who can I tell?
They will not understand
How do I explain?
I'm drifting in an ocean
Anchored down by a mere thread
An unreliable chain
That I wish I could just break
I want to be washed away
Yet so many want me to stay
But only if I hide the true side of myself
And protect them from this incredible mess...

The Line
Do not cross that line.
Go right to the edge,
back away
survive to draw another line
another day.

Sand is unreliable,
it shifts perspective
makes lines squiggle,
disappear
come back red with blood.

Sail not too close to the wind
that blustery vortex
has an invisible line
that runs through it,
for there be dragons.

Don't cross that line
even if
it's only a thought in your head.

Do not....

Premium Member Romance Rambling
The conversation
takes an crushy turn - so my
brain starts making quips.

My experience is
that my amorous impulses
are unreliable.

With my friends, my flawed,
carnivalesque attempts
at romance are legend.

Unless I'm starved
for embarrassment's grief
which I seldom am.

I will dodge, slither,
obfuscate and stall attempts
at intimacy.

What if I’m the
Kind of girl that guys can’t
just fall in love with?...

Premium Member beat them to breakfast
Free breakfast for educators all week the TV said
We ran toward the restaurant, all teachers willing to be fed
I beat two cars that were as blue as my car is red
We got in line, but I was ahead

I waved at them, to show no hard feelings of course
One of them gave me a head-nod like a stuck-up horse.
The other one ignored me, he is not friendly, Mr. Borse.
He also has other bad qualities according to an unreliable source....

Unreliable Narator
He was unreliable in many more ways then just the one,
Stretched his black wings and left his family for fun,
Now his life is complete as he sits at a computer screen,
Leading others from God with pornography that is obscene.

Latching on to the innocent and those who are pure,
Hand in hand with satan to coax and then to lure,
Nothing worthy beats in his black little heart,
Throwing horrible contests to rip the sad apart....

Shadows
love you as their leader
follow you til death
haunt you with their symmetry
chill your icy neck

unreliable and deceiving
theyll change what others see
bound to you forever
choose to not be free

few noticeable when daylight
millions when night abounds
whisper again until youre deaf
yet you only hear the sound

remind you of your lost sins
leave you to watch your back
praise you as they follow
but your shadows will attack....

Human Lab
Half-buried in a mud pit,
a polluter bares all, body and soul.
Hands bound, ready to be stoned
to death.

A god was going to kill a god.
A dense judgement of planet green
of an unreliable sun
scribbling a code of conduct.

My god, I will go insane.
Save my woods I say. How can
be the adam was so naked running
in a race gene altered ?

My arthritic fingers again lift
a mansion of gold leaves, dissolving
the sky.

Witch Hazel
Witch Hazel failed her flying test.
She crashed her broom.
The worst marks in the wicked west,
they sealed her doom.
Her magic was deniable.
Her spells were unreliable.
Too low, too fast, I would assume.
She crashed her broom.

But Hazel wanted to be best,
the brightest bloom.
With lots of practice, she progressed
and shed her gloom.
She took the test a second time,
but struggled as she tried to climb.
Police blamed alcohol consumed.
She crashed her broom....

Dark Light
My Heart ; thinking of unreliable things ,
of things that claw and the
things that gore.
Lifting their heads in happy adoration
to take half thy canvas in.
Now coming back from the first to last
Night or days o'er
everything but sleep in all thy
pleasures , not that smart, should
	I feel.
		A gaping space that feedeth
the blessed. Yes ; or pass quickly
	into the skies laughing
w-/ out cause in the night.
Now clear as glass ; and now Dark
Light....

Premium Member Thorns of Treachery
Listen to poem:
" ...betrayal begins with trust." Quote_ Phish

Betrayal is the cold shiny sword
of stalking deception,
sheathed in scabbard of trust.
Its two-edged blade is
honed to razor sharp,
ready to thrust, lunge and parry
a touche touch.

Betrayal is two-faced
and unreliable.
There's a switch blade in
the hand that reaches out
trustingly and faithfully
for more of you.

So as trust grows,
beware that it sows
the seeds of scorns
in the thorns
of treachery
and bribery....
