What I want taken
fate dealt to me a taste of
then took it away
like a child from its mother,
this anguish pitted so deep.

My life is devoid of affection.
I yearn to be cuddled and kissed.
I need someone special to tell me they love me
and if I went missing, to know I'd be missed.

Unloved I fell apart
A piece on thinking love absurd
And one declares a love unheard
I wrote them from the heart

Every day begins
like a cold chunk of clay
kneaded by us
battered by them.
Come dusk, it doesn't
look like much of anything
our blood fills in the cracks
untouched-unloved-unglazed.
I would give up on vain dreams...the ones that won't let me see how
life is lived without the tears and the fears of being unloved:
if one of them drew a beautiful rainbow in my sunless sky!

Hurt
is what
I feel when
you belittle
me with harsh, unloved,
abusive and slained words.
You make me feel bad about
myself to the point where I can
not look in the mirror to face what
you have made me from the pounds of your fists.
Jesus walked on water and he turned water into wine.
He's the son of God and he's your savior and mine.
It would've been wonderful if we could've witnessed his birth.
If you feel unloved, please remember that Jesus loves everybody on Earth.

The day his baby left
Him was the same day
He became a baby.
That day, his mother
Brought him to life.
And...
And that was the same day
He lost his kidney and he lost
His liver.
And...
And what was left of him I pray
Never to put to words.
Letter to letter once estranged,
they mate in open air
Copulants of a thought unloved,
vowels conceived in pairs
An alphabetic orgy,
the first word falls in place
Darkness changing into light
—all silence to replace

By understanding a few things
Big bullies helped form these little bullies

Listening, instilled hope
