It sure is so fun to look back on old poems and reminisce what inspired each one-- you made me smile with this Jack, and you are right I can relate to that, writing from the heart-- sorry to hear about your close friend though, people are never the same again when abuse happens... I also have someone very close to me and that inspired that write, thank you for your thoughts in that poem...
