Our union is stronger than we -
Measuring twofold -
And moves in the world.
Prithee, therefore -
Take it on with me.
Alas, all this pile, has not got much sense,
Ha’pence for all the lot;
Had but a clue I been taught,
I’d not compose utter rot.

Mind-heart, Male-female
When perfect sacred Union
Bliss Creation, Ah!
Raise the vibration
Hold and focus up, up, up.
Until I say, Ah!
fragrant gardenias,
steaming cafe au lait

sound and light union
no contacts whatsoever
fusion of two 'hearts'
they ache from bending hot day picking....
union of voices spanish tongue
in produce fields dusty sweating farmworkers....
wanting needing more bread
A fine buccaneer broached the scene
Some called the man Jack, Jacqueline
for behind cabin doors
the fine dresses he wore
did rival the gowns of the Queen.
Brothers by birth
brothers in arms
Blood running deepest
unity warns
Brothers in life
brothers in death
Destiny’s union
—sharing one breath

In solitude,
two silences meet—
the one within, the one beyond.
They braid themselves into a single thread,
a stillness that feels like being held
by something unseen.

A shouting senile old fool tanking in the polls trying to save his a-rse.
It would take someone a helluva lot smarter than Joe to gaslight me.
Sol hides behind clouds
Darkness envelops the earth
Shy like a bride

*empyrean - relating to heaven or the sky

the primrose sin of long unwaxing days
hours religious as a dreidel
in near earth orbit
we pluck dry flowers
like flirting genesis
like writing the noon-day Bible
and dispel a magic
we’d long forgotten wrote.
He thinks of better women
She thinks of lesser men
the kids think
Two Christmases!
Neither thinks of them
but he won't budge
cause she'd get half
and she won't budge
cause she'd only get half
Life is the fragile substance
the only that can
disappear in a breath
and make a bluster
in the silence
mangling multiples
hearts
Married by the same pain.
try as i might

im laughin
Placate me
Entertain me
Make me laugh
Show me the way
Show me my best side
Pump me up
Guide me into better days
Enjoy my essence
Share my truth
Remind me I am better than okay
Build me up
As I tear you down
Acknowledging with a nodding head
Beautiful hibiscus and its bugle
Coming in the close embrace of
Drops of early autumn downpour
Euphoria of the innovative union
Flood of delight on the dawn's face

The Heart says,
"I promise to be Pure & shall always complete you."
The Mind says,
"I promise to be Strong & shall always protect you."
And in the presence of The Soul,
They become One.

The vast masses in NYC
depend on unions
so they can feed themselves and/or their families
Saw in the union paper
that someone in the union
wrote a book of verse
More power to him!
Write verse for the people!
