Money

Money…
  an ungrateful heir

Disowning all memory
 —with your ashes still warm

Marathon Man

Morning; I awake
with stiffness in my
lank legs.
Yesterdays long run
has taken its toll
on my
ungrateful, ageing
body.

Dear Negative Thoughts

Thank you
For putting me down
and leaving me astound,
For which I'm ungrateful
because you've made my life extremely painful.

The Plate

I had way too much on my plate
from a quirky and ungrateful date
She expressed I was cheap
And called me a creep
Then went searching for a brand-new mate

The Seeking

Worries,
blaming oneself
for the ungrateful work
seeking a forgiveness to ease
the pain.

Light Consumes Itself

Wax core
bleeding its heart
feeding flame with its own flesh
inside a cold, ungrateful room
slain, so the dark stays warm.

Premium Member What you have stolen

You have stolen
my love
my soul
my whole being
with your ungrateful heart
after I have given you everything
your tongue held so many lies
it was the weapon of your choice

Ungrateful

Take and receive.
For that is all you know.
The word give hasn't been set in your heart.
You take and take.
But then there is nothing left.
For the people who you took from stopped giving.

Pain

it's the pain you've put me through,
i can't even tie my shoe.
judgmental stairs;
ungrateful glares.
those people are everywhere-
nobody would care.
it is a love, hate
it is a shove, bait

We the Unwilling

"We the unwilling
Led by the unqualified
To kill the unfortunate
Die for the ungrateful"

A motto of the troops
Who served in Vietnam
And wrote it on the back
Of a chrome Zippo lighter.

Premium Member Ugliness

Under the skin, it lurks -
Ungodly, ungrateful,
Unjust, and raring to
Unleash viciousness with
Unconscionable acts.
Utterly devoid of
Understanding, it reeks!

Dear Mr Selfish

Dear Mr selfish,
   To the ungrateful little prick
Swinging dead, cold and pale by the neck.
I am the void I am death, and i will joyfully
Eat every crumb of hope you had selfishly left behind.

          Sincerely; SUICIDE

Empty and Unworthy

I despise my own ungrateful soul of unworthy love that has rejected the light so much so that the light turns away. I feel my own cry for help for it wells up in my soul. My tears fall on the inside but no one sees the ones on the outside.

Premium Member Wake Me

Wake me if I've become stationary,
satiated with the ordinary.

Nudge me if I am complacently numb,
ungrateful and obliviously glum.

Unfold my eyes if they're mindlessly closed.
Wake me from heedless sleep if I have dozed.

There aren't no faithful men
You ungrateful man
You had a good thing I'm a good woman
Yet you abused me, so now you'll lose me
There ain't no faithful, truthful man;
No man, you sir no cause every man an adulator
And yet the few that are not...more than average;

Wish-I-Was-In-A-Better-Place

Wish i was in a better place.
To survive myself from this case.
I know it is just a phase.
Till I get God's grace.

I think I'm sounding ungrateful.
It's just that sometimes it gets painful.
I got to Thank God and stay faithful.
'Cause graceful days are coming peaceful.

Abraham - Chapter 14, Verses 34, Holy Koran

I ask for refuge to Allah from Satan the exiled evildoer
In the name of Allah the Kind and the Merciful Giver.

Allah has given you all things you asked from Him
And if you want to count Allah’s favors
It will remain a dream
Undoubtedly humans are very unjust
And ungrateful to Him.

Rejection

Leaves slippery here
I will watch my footstep then
In their dance invite

I will not turn gold
For brown will come, old in cold
Ungrateful breezes

Manners of the young
Left much to desire today
Casting leaves to rot

Like values in trash
Thrown away. I am careful
Dancing in the wind.

Mother

In pain she bring forth new life
Her grief she hides with a smile
Always ready to nuture to care
Her husband and loved ones shrouded in prayer
About her home she sets everything right
For ungrateful ones she holds no spite
Till her last breath she strives
To make this world a nest to thrive.

When he learned that one ungrateful tyke
had returned gifts that he didn't like,

Santa bet the next brat
who tried something like that

would get briquettes instead of a bike!

Ungrateful

For money he begs, my heart i gave but my heart he breaks because he wanted penny. To survive, you need heart to bear burdens in life's cart, my heart i gave, but your wants are many. I gave you time my private life, myself, my time, but you wanted delicious blenny.

Tempers trashing,
ideas clashing,
families fuming,
kinship cooling.

Camaraderie collapsing,
communication lapsing,
schisms scission,
harmony ebbs away,

Fuddy-duddy , so unreal
is the petulant cry;
ungrateful child,the sighing reply,
then stances coagulate and congeal.

T
They're Kicking old lady liberty in the teeth again.
Then demand everything while offering nothing in return.
If America is a broth of systemic racism
then why do people from everywhere risk their lives to get in.
Once they arrive, they want to inoculate us
with the very things they're fleeing from.
