He Kept a List
An old, gray-haired emir from Yemen
Preferred courting underage women,
He kept a list
Of those he kissed
Banished those he considered a lemon.

Mature Audiences Only
If tolerance for violence be a sign of one's prime,
and indecency one can't unsee be viewed without crime.
If lewdness is excused as entertainment for adults
and cussing isn't obscene, just comical insults.
If vulgarity and barbarity be maturity's gauge,
then though I'm over twenty three, I'm well underage.

Serving Beer To Minors
(This is a true story)
A lady served beer at her son's 16th birthday party and now she's in jail.
Because of this mistake she made, she's locked in a cell.
She served the beer to her son and to his underage friends.
When she gets out in two years from now, she'll never serve beer to minors
again.
I wish I could say that this poem is fictional but sadly it's true.
Never serve alcoholic beverages to minors or the same thing might happen to
you....

Dramatic Verse
With Liberty and Justice For All
You can't purchase liquor, son. You're underage.
Pardon me, officer. May I see your badge?
Button your lip, son. Or you'll be resisting arrest.
But I'm 21, officer. Better check my ID, I'd suggest.
That's it for you, boy. I'm taking you down to the station.
I demand the right to a lawyer. He'll charge discrimination.
Why, you scum: Here's a knuckle sandwich for you -- KAPOW!
If I were white, you'd never try this -- no way, no how......

Leave the Children Home
Children are not allowed inside the casino.
Because they are underage, they cannot go.
While playing, it’s easy to lose track of the time.
Leaving your children in the car is a crime.
It comes with a stiff fine, and some jail time.
If the police see your auto in the parking lot,
you will be placed into an unenviable spot.
Next time, if to the casinos you want to roam,
for safety’s sake, leave the children at home.
Inspired by a local news story
