Choking Dreams
I choke in my dreams
I’m struggling so it seams
A conflict with me and the inner me
Unblock this plague and let my words free

In mind fields lost memories lurk
To find them a short cut might work
If thoughts can't unblock
Find them with a....tick....tock

Unblock
There once was a toilet blocked up
Gosh what do we do with it, that is yuck.
Stick your hand in it dear
Unblock it, it will clear.
Stick your own in mate, I’ll chuck up....

Tongue tied and twisted my mouth is
I can’t say limerick as it is
It’s not very hard
To yell “rook card”
To say I have some winning hands

Writer's Block
I can not think
of one word to say
I can not write
one word I think
I have writer's block,..
and it stinks.
Clever expressions, hard nose impressions,
all words escapes me,
oh how I wish I knew
just what to do
to find a way
to unblock me.......

Premium Member I Don't Give a Fig
To say you would unblock someone if they can be civil is a crock of BS that I'd categorize as narcissistic drivel. It's just another veiled shovel full, meant as a dig but it's quite clear that some people don't give a fig! Oh, the impudence of one who has an arrogant nature. The petulance of one without disciplined nomenclature.

Blockhead
BLOCKHEAD

Some folks’ say all my life I’ve been a BLOCKHEAD.
Maybe if I could have gotten through that last ROADBLOCK,
news of my incarceration wouldn’t be such a family BLOCKBUSTER.
So here I sit all alone in my CELL BLOCK.
I’m suffering a bad case of WRITERS BLOCK,
without a clue the path my mind should take to UNBLOCK.
By the time I get out of here, I’ll need 100 spf SUNBLOCK.

Premium Member Celestial Rain
Cleanse the mind
Unblock the brain
With your amazing gift
Oh celestial rain

Replenish the rivers
Quench nature’s thirst
Purify the earth
With your mighty cloudburst

Your harmonious music
A variety of sound
Joyful and soothing
Mystical , spellbound

Happiness to the heart
Healing to the soul
Calming to the spirit
Feeling safe and whole

The horizon darkens
Cascading again
Delivering peace and tranquility
Oh celestial rain….....

Release
Masked by distance. Lost in past
pulling at my heart.
Communication absent, knowing not
where I should start.

Evolving nil, the standstill
reaps such havoc on my dreams.
Desire overwhelming such
it's bursting at the seams.

The longing for that little sign.
A light of green be seen.
A chance to close the heaping gap.
Unblock the guarded stream.

Open with the preciousness
of foot prints in the sand.
Just open please, let flowers bloom
unlock the golden ban....
