The Breakup
You detached me from your regard.

You devalued me with your unkindness.

Your unapologetic apathy underscored my uselessness.

But, when you told me to get out, you were redundant.

I was already gone....

concepts suggest preferences but the truth is unapologetic manifesting within form magnetic electricity which we receive with gratitude and yet our identity is disconcerted at the transmutation and so ego creates a ripple recognised, cajoled, sublimated to align its stirrings with divine will

Unapologetic
I am unapologetic for the color of my dark complexion skin.

I am unapologetic for the way I choose to walk.

I am unapologetic for the way I choose to talk.

I am unapologetic for the way I choose to dress.

I am unapologetic for my kinky hair, and the way I choose to wear it.

I AM UNAPOLOGETIC FOR LOVING ME AND BEING ME.

GOD BLESS...

Everyone has a idea how I should live my life.
There’s no conceptualisation or paradigm I can’t
be duplicated, I am unapologetic a authentic soul.

Compassionate, unselfish, many fears and sleepless
nights I have endured. A sentimental heart within me.

I don’t live for likes or thumbs up for I’m a realistic
individual for i am me personally....

His slime is abhorrent.
His smile is disingenuous.
His words meaningless as his
lies mean nothing.
His condescension is unapologetic.
His disdain is not hidden.
His selfish arrogance is always
in vision.
His pompous demeanor makes
it easier to distrust anything
and everything he says.
If you voted for this you will
be by me always unforgiven....

Her Smile Never Promised
her smile never promised
nor gave any encouragement,
her voice low and unapologetic
and i learned to accept this,

but i felt as if there
could have been something more,
nothing written in stone
but maybe a hope, even
as she continues to run,

what is she running from,
is it from me or herself,
i realize that there was no chance
once she made up her mind....

So unapologetic
not like I could carry all my shame

Here’s to a better future!
one that we’re not in…

I’m tracking patterns through the water system,
a river full of waste

Where sinking flowers drown in oxygen
with misadventures taking place

Exit safely,
the scarcity complex that is your concentration

A river full of waste;
a minefield of ironic expectations...

Eclipse
The city holds it’s breath
Waiting
Anticipating
It looks at the moon
Indecisive
The moon smiles,
Cruel
What shall I do next?
It gets darker,
And the city is scared
The sun sits,
Impassive
The moon approaches
The city screams before-
Darkness
Unnatural darkness
And the moon is unapologetic
And the sun is powerless against it’s child
The city begins to die,
But the moon is merciful
It moves,
And there is light again....

Awake
The kiss that finally woke her was a silly sort of kiss,
a desperate sort of kiss,
filled with someteen years of longing eager to escape.
Through the toothy smile kisses
She felt water and air and earth and fire rush through her
all at once, then lingering and pulsing through her fingertips.
A crazy wave of relief and delight that she couldn't quite define - she knew she wanted more of this.
Awake.
And she blushed in places no one could see, unapologetic....

Black What
Black what ?
never apologize for your black thoughts , your black loyalties
never apologize for your black motives , your black history
never apologize for your black pride, your black skin
For black is just a skin color .. it can define my race but not my heart
For black is just gift of differentiation from God it may define my identity but it cannot define my struggle, my hard work ...
I'm proudly black
I'm unapologetic for being black

In century's search I see,
your eyes, unaffected by time,
lead mine, their unapologetic,
lines, recite, apprised in my delight,
a certain love I’d known before,
I remember it under sycamore,
our vows were true and read,
souls entwined within our wed,
we spent each moment,
together, before that letter,
informing of your death,
since, I've spent all breath,
writing prose in my wait,
my hope, for my suffer,
to find again my mate,
amidst the pages,
I uncover.

In Reverse
Just unbound, the death rate.
Red roses had no qualms. Numbers,
unapologetic, they die or commit suicide.
Death had no tombs. One by one they
cross the stream, sinking half, floating half
in a cynic system, heedless, emaciated,
eyes looking beyond, cavernous.

They kiss the doors, will not comeback,
pilgrims of grapes or hemlock, dead on the toes
of rehearsals, dried milk in breasts and pounding
of metaphors. The mankind stripped of songs
drifting from one forest to another.
