You'll Never Go Broke Playing Into a Rich Guys Ego

So unapologetic 
not like I could carry all my shame

Here’s to a better future!
one that we’re not in…

I’m tracking patterns through the water system,
a river full of waste 

Where sinking flowers drown in oxygen 
with misadventures taking place 

Exit safely, 
the scarcity complex that is your concentration 

A river full of waste; 
a minefield of ironic expectations

Matthew Bailey October 19, 2023 at 5:59 AM When I think of short but sweet, my mind goes to this poem of all the ones I have. I'm extremely proud of the last line, still not sure how I even thought of that but I love powerful endings. This title, among many others I have, is from Modern Family.
