Umbra
Everything is faint tonight.
By dint of a gloomy room
or a crescent moon...?
My heart is sad and tired.
Like a dew drop on a frond,
Will you be disappearing soon...?

Underneath Umbrellas
Unusually uninviting ultraviolets unleashes unrelenting unpleasantness underneath unique umbrellas,
uncomfortably upsetting us,
until umbra unexpectedly unloads ultimate Utopia upon us....

Umbra
Another letter today
Just one more step along my way
Check that box and forget about
Whatever tomorrow brings
Even if it's only for a little while
Close my eyes and try to smile
Close my eyes
To the light.

Why Is She So Beautiful
powerful mystical energies
magnified life is a game
take the risk
omen of fights catastrophes
convert your violence to
passionate creativity
meteor shower
the moon is passing
behind the earth
into its umbra
why is she so
beautiful...

Umbra
Live your days with purpose,
and death walks by your side
To constantly remind,
what time will not abide
Your choice on how to handle,
ignore or then befriend
That last step left untaken
—where life begins again
(Bryce Canyon: August, 2019)...

Love's Madness
little by little it digs
in every hole of my skin
this mad love that I feel
it tickles me inside
as the wind whistles
it suddenly blows me
to the moon's eclipse
the umbra is gone
when it illuminates
my heart can be seen
that will be yours forever...

Umbra Music
The insect hymns
press gently on the inner ears.
They hide in the umbra,
great intricacies
of chitinous clicks
and timpanis
and tiny shockwave harmonies
grooving late
into the ferocious night -
until the umbra yowls
and hoots,
and the the hunters seek the hymns....

Via of Umbra Interfixus Per Lux Lucis
this is the way out
but where does it lead
to a path untaken
to a path unseen
to risk and try
to rely on fate
it is a chance we all must take
you wish to leave
so you fall behind
lost in a crowd of brainless minds
fallow blind
or choose to see
the path untaken
the path unseen...

I do not know?
Longing
Your memory nearly diminished
I can only imagine you here
In this empty space before me
As I reach up to kiss your lips
And see the ache inside your eyes
Like a poem left unfinished
A wilted white rose boutonniere
Shards of a shattered vanity
Umbra of the moon’s eclipse
Or November clouds in April skies....

Moon
Trying to find my
solace in the moon of the
Fall for I lack the
lunar halo and
the velveteen, onyx shade
of yours. I wish to
be the one who at
once will make you whole, but you
are still concealing;
still hiding thyself
away behind a moonbeam
smile like a helpless
umbra does in the
sheltering embrace of the
dazzling paraselene....

Triumph Anew

E-ven though life is lame.
J-anuary twenty-third morn
A-nother fresh dawn occurs;
N-ow is the time to move on,
E-vading the jinx and curse.

Red Moon
scarcely noted tinge of moribund intent
in stealth advances to dull selene’s
full aspect with penumbral shade
luna’s wizened glow, its fate assured,
in grim surrender—stolid umbra
spreads somber cloak of death
benighted orb, a wound erupts,
suffused with crimson, yet artemis endures—
poets’ pens stilled by mid-april’s red moon

Part of Me Is Lost
[Re-posted]
From dregs
of twilight embers,
pale dawn’s embrace—
and naught but rusty glow
stolid umbra to banish,
in wan resolve,
from these, my solitary rooms.
Echoes.
Small children laughing,
afar and ago—
profound diminuendo.
Still, I grasp—
clutching sand—
a dying world to hold.
But pain’s recall
subsists—
and, shuddering,
ebbs,
into my eyes—
drips through my fingers
and onto the floor....

Lips Eclipse
Fifteen minute utter cohesion exists
Selene umbra shielded is dust kissed
Coinciding of inland and coastal discs
Earth Moon orbit drawn in magnetism
Spherical cycled symmetry, safety given
Invisible fingers tap tunes to their rhythm
Red emits forbidden midnight miracle
Hottest wanton, dual crossing elliptical
Helios wavelength cottons moon's spool
26th May 2021
Aus will have prime view of blood super moon
Eclipse tonight
One month post
