Stained Letters

Old letters stained by umbra of the night

Each crumpled phrase falls as ravens alight

Nette, there's something about the poetry that comes from you. I can't quite pinpoint what it is yet but I sure am looking forward to our meet-up so we can zero in on what it is. Nevertheless, I'm quite sure it's an otherworldly beauty and style that is truly your own.

To be able to complete a thought with sombre mood in just 2 lines is a remarkable feat. You raised the standard , Nette. Thank you for giving me a slot in your contest.

Old letters. Old news. Things and events do get tangled over time. As usual, nette, your writing is great. Love, daver
