Tucson 2018
Today I rode into Tucson
Determined to buy a new futon
A squirt in a skirt
Got down in the dirt
And flashed me a discount coupon...

Route 66ish No 3
Route 66ish No 3

A cowboy once rode down to Tucson,
With only his hat and his boots on,
His butt got real sore,
So he cussed and he swore,
!Cos his "whatsit" looked just like a crouton!...

Walkin' back from Tucson
Just a lonely little blue son,
Castrol oil across my face.
Needin’ feminine touch
So bad I can taste.
Though the good Lord
Knows the final law.
And to Him I’m just coleslaw.

Hawaii’s coffee is Kona
Mexico’s beer is Corona
But Tucson loves Stock
And now owns a used Glock
For the gun culture of Arizona

Author's note: News flash--Glocks are now flying off the shelves in Arizona....

Blame Game
Trump plans to escape prosecution
But not if he travels to Tucson
The Indians there
Are after his hair
Which Trump says is simple confusion

* Trump blames Congress for not
giving him the funds to complete his
Vanity Wall, but Congress blames
Trump, who promised everyone
that Mexico would pay for the Wall...

Ever since September 15th, 1991
I have been a fan of 94.9 FM.
Over the years, the DJs have been a lot of fun,
But you (Greg and Mrs. G) are the very best of them.

From Mrs. G’s ‘Not As Naughty As It Sounds Trivia’
To whatever’s happening in Tucson with ‘Que Pasa’,
I’m a fan forever, that promise I will give ya.
You will always be in my heart and in my casa....

Tucson Tramp
She walks through the desert with her heart in her smile and hate on her sleeve. Cactus blossom with her tears then wither quickly as he leaves briskly to go find her new risky sanctuary. Eyes that have seen pain, only the grains of time outlast her sorrow. Every scenic sunset she cries, she gasps, she tries to grasp for harmony. And with each new horizon she awakes to search for happiness....

Hotel
Stayed at a hotel
in Tucson Arizona
darkness lit the hallway
the only place I could afford to stay
each night I would pray
that the next day
would not come
I was stuck, abandoned
hungry no food around
wondering when death would come
no way out
next door people would shout
at their crying babies
no one with any money
and empty bellies
no solutions
just empty notions
dark and abandoned
at a hotel
in Tucson Arizona...

Then
I sit

blind

at least blurry

in a place

I wouldn't want you to find me

my ears are ringing

louder than my heart was singing

years ago

before I lost my senses

somewhere between Tucson and San Antonio

Now my ears are roaring

Is that my blood ?

flowing

a little colder than usual

It's so still now

still enough to remind me

pain is boring

this is good

a quiet place

where you can't hurt me anymore...

Tucson Weather
Tucson in October
Is called the shoulder season
It could be hot - maybe cool
But nothing out of reason

Every morning the sun will shine
Of this there is no doubt
It’s expected it to be that way –
“day in” and “day out”

If a dark and rainy day
Should somehow come along
It becomes the headline news
The weather man was wrong

A rare diversion from the sun
Is something of a thriller
But tomorrow, when it returns
The humidity is a killer...

Her life started in Tucson, Arizona. She would be known all over America. This pretty brunette had many hit songs. A personal place of admiration is where she belongs. Melodies like "Different Drum" sounded very sweet. This lady always performed on stage in bare feet. Her career had to end due to a physical ailment. This bad stroke of luck forced her into retirement. I thank wikipedia.org for valuable information I obtained to write this poem.
