Ain'T That the Truth
Truth,
Though trounced to the ground,
Shall arise again—
Watch and wait and you will surly see....

I do not know?
Faith Prevailed
A strong swarm
Dodging the mayhem
There was hope
Madness sea
In the throng, trounced and forlorn
Faith and calm prevailed.

Tarnished Through Timing
Tarnishing through timing
Three times trustingly
Triple traps tripping too
Trounced twice tingling
Telepathically trudging
Teaming tremendous tasks
Tell Timmy to take tally
Tarnished Through Timing...

Trouncing Fields of Dreams
like locusts
swarming innocent crops
in their prime
we likewise slaughter
our fields of dreams
as well as moral pride—
idle consciousness
impervious to the nipping
of the shoots
of chosen buds of youth
trounced
in the fields of our streets....

Rumpelstiltskin Thought He Would Get Baby
Rumpelstiltskin's temper pronounced.
So many hard feelings he flounced.
Suspected maybe
He would get baby
Spun gold for no reason. Was trounced.

Obama and Romney-2
Obama and Romney
Barrack Obama
Tracked down terror mastermind Osama
And then trounced Mitt Romney
A mere Presidential nominee.
Poor Romney had lots of money
At times funny with promises like honey
But popular trend he couldn’t buck
It did really suck.

A Champions Retirement
His retirement the champion announced,
After he was in their fight trounced,
And like a tennis ball bounced…
On him had his challenger pounced,
His strength not letting him use an ounce,
And forcing him to hit the canvas, not once!
Soon, the press,
To painfully address,
And meekly renounce,
All that he did archly pronounce…
The cruelest punch finally goes to rest,
For being no longer The Best....

Fragile Little Flower
Fragile Little Flower…
Tears fall freely during times of great distress
Our tears wash away our pain
When we become trounced into such a disheartening mess
Such a cruel fate, if we never truly suffered, we’d have so much less to gain
So Dry your sweet tears, Fragile Little Flower, and leave space for growth!
For it is the Flowers that do not whither, are the Flowers that we admire the most......

Miscalculating Vet and Calculating Dog
Many are pitying the guy,
Because one cannot new life buy:
Bingo had on his groin pounced
And got him-Meanest Foe-trounced!
Vet had Needle and Syringe shown Dog
And what he got worse than struck log:
To Bingo’s Canines job to do
“And don’t first ask your Victim ‘Who’?”
Many are afraid Vet will die
And have begun to say “Mute Bye.”
A Miscalculating Vet - Fie!
For him I could only once sigh:
Had in Dog’s food dropped a long sleep
But too quick to The Sown to reap!...
