Rumpelstiltskin Thought He Would Get Baby

Rumpelstiltskin's temper pronounced.
So many hard feelings he flounced.
Suspected maybe
He would get baby
Spun gold for no reason. Was trounced.

Thank you Charles. I had to look up the word trounce to make sure I was right. Some words I do not use very often.

Thank you Alexis. I have a new strategy. I never look at the winners any more. Other people always tell me if I get something, and I do not have to feel badly when I do not which is about 50 percent of the time.

And I am wondering - does this mean you know the story?

Darn, I was going to do Rumpelstiltskin but you beat me to it (and so creatively, too!) Will surely be on the winner's list!

Thanks Michelle. I really have always loved this story, so I had to do it. I am sure you could still use Rumpelstiltskin and come up with something amazing.

Rumpelstiltskin made history by having a baby or wanting one. Very witty and I like the words Pronounced, flounced and trounced. They are hard words to rhyme with but you have managed it well.

Thank you my friend. Trounced was a stretch; I looked up the meaning to make sure I was accurate.

I love the titles you give to your poems Caren and of course no doubt your poems too :)
