road trip on fall day
highway under construction...
powerful tar scent
we like to say
as you going away
have fun rnjoy the sun
wine sip
pool dip
you also have sweet lips
these or tips
ON YOUR TRIP
it was nice weather
we all got together
hand this plan
for a picnic stand
so we could dip
and pop some whips
on this
BUS OUTING TRIP
A parade of grey suited aliens
Climbing aboard the spaceship
Buckle up real tight
Here comes the countdown
For the moon landing trip.
need to get way
for some play
this i can say
ma going pop a whip
and drink a sip
take adip
so give me no lip
am
taken a trip
To great unknown journey
I travel without equipment
ephemeral but not fleeting passenger...
Definitely coming...
A trip down memory lane
Can be treacherous
Paved with all good intentions
But must tread lightly
You might get tired and bored
baiting fishing hook
sitting on the bank of lake
trees providing shade
early morning sun peeking
little boy’s first fishing trip
Ski Trip
skiing
nature's backwoods,
over frozen lakefronts,
among quiet darken patches,
snowfalls

Her picture looked fine
Knock on her door
My mind starts to soar!
IT'S A MAN

COOL OFF
TAKE A TRIP
If you've ever been alone
as if your very being has flown
launch loving care
to those in despair
in light of the darkness you have known.
I went to the dentist today,
And the fee that I had to pay,
For one little tooth,
Was highly uncouth.
It's highway robbery, I say!

floating drifting in water
known life's unknown trip

Life’s last station

The final destination

A wondrous ride!

As we near the end of our road trip
a blessing from an old amateur wordsmith:
No road is ever too long
if you have someone to share it with
Listen to poem:
Ah the joys of sunrise
awakened from sleeping
in car on a carefree
surfing safari trip
up north, with just me and
my board transfixed in bliss
Quick trip to the grocery store
not looking for anything more;
Suddenly a cute cashier!
Damn! Didn’t fix my hair
before I walked out the door.
we all wish you well
hope this rings a bell
its getway time
go where there;s sunshine
where they pop whips
and wine sip
HAVE A WONDERFULL TRIP
underneath a fire
velocity of the flames
running back and forth
from feather tip to arrow
sharpened in fixed direction
Boys' annual weekend camping trip.
It's been a year of forest fires.
~ Had to see for ourselves.
