		I stand guard
		in the heavily trafficked night
while you search in your sleep

A consignment on foreign soil, arrogated from house and home
Introduction in the blindness of night, freedom lost and spirit alone
Evil now renders its hand, survival consumes the affected
Divergent from fear and pain, escape becomes inspected

October 12, 2020...

It Kills Me
People are dying everyday
There is a war on ukraine
A genocide in the middle east
A grandma died her dog died too
No one knew in 6 months it was on the news
And children are trafficked, killed by goons
Some are assaulted raped then discarded
My girlfriend left if feels bad too
but what kills me everyday
Is my dog will die one day too...

If I think to much
More
There minds are gonna
Break
If I write to much
More
There hate, its gonna
Break
That pack, its circling
Howling
Ready to pounce
If at all
They wound me
Seems
The Dim took offence
To something
Maybe, I wrote
Who knows?
Vengeance
Is there's
Its coming
The ears are back
Laying flat
On the trafficked
I already know
I have already
Seen...

Babble
No more to dance, no more to shine,
A clown down, on the foreign round.
Lost in the laughing trafficked city.
Tongues of pity now broken, now
Regretful of the truths hard spoken.
Flinching from stilleto'd eyes,
Solace sought in the lies screaming
From the pasted signs. Only
Here, hid among the blinded dragons,
Is there peace, my shattered sister.
Rest, lay down your blistered soul....

Tomorrow
There's always another tale to be told
Other reports that are yet to unfold
Moving past edited headlines in bold
Maybe in small print or lost in the fold
Ordinary tales left out in the cold
Rainbows that never quite led to the gold
Roads to where real life is trafficked and sold
Ordinary people the tales we hold
Watching the looking glass as we grow old....

the ways almost down
cosmic constant, sneaks
to be diluted
pinned down with
prison franks
playing footsie
not a long ride
loveless daybeds
abandoned signals
fighting eyes across trafficked lies
earthern worms
bait filled cells in bread
tape worn in xrays of osiris
skipped eventually in tag
enough to walk down
walking home, down
further than, better days
sinkers on a string
blankets of kelp, poisoned
and learned

the baby won't need a pack of smokes...

Sometimes looking back
can be step forward --
being certain of where not
to return -- paths of experience
already traveled. Grass-less ruts
heavily trafficked by self and
loser others -- I search for detours,
missed games of chance --

though lectured long and wide
on the pitfalls of gambling...God,
our perfect example!~ His life
and death wager of Free Will...

What greater stake than a Soul?

Each of us given one Gambit
of Time!?...

Refuse Refugee
Out they go, rejected plastic
bags and bottles. Off they float,
dispersed. Where to?
  There's no control.
Wind and ocean current swirling,
gathering all those broken
fragments. Human flotsam drawn
together, trafficked at what cost,
deflatable, adrift. Ashore,
  caste unwanted.
Are they biodegradable?
What of their diversity?
Can they be reused? Restored?
Evidence of waste upcycled,
more than plastic identity,
  or plastic credit.
The refuse refugee - is....
