Premium Member Ode to a Toxic Boss

Press, press, press, press
Stress, stress, stress, stress
Mess, mess, mess, mess
Less, less, less less,
I’m done

Toxic

My mind is different,
floating in sludge,
clouding my thoughts,
making you seem obtainable,
yet you are nowhere to be found.

Being loved and loving someone is amazing, but it can be a nightmare when it turns toxic.

What did I ever do, except be gracious, noble, and true?
You suffer a blindness and cannot see kindness,
only thieves wanting something from you.

Leaving Scars

Please, I beg
Leave, at once
His eyes froze me
As his words cut
Me deep
Leaving scars
On my skin
Save me
We can create miracles
He whispers

Toxic Relationship

I was oblivious to the fact
what is toxic,
When I stumbled upon toxic,
amazing voice,
looks decent,
beautiful thoughts we shared.
then poison spread.

Premium Member Toxic State

Sometimes my mind screams out to be aroused; begs to be satisfied.
...yet she remains subdued; chained to the limitations of this world.

Racing

• A warm liquid racing down my face • Staring at the ground like a fool • I guess I've really done it now • She seems to have lost her cool

Sorry, mom says I can’t

Harsh pandemic facts

A FORTIES CHILDHOOD

Feelings ,then
were not shared but
held back, within.
A reservoir of emotions
controlled, withheld...

until death ,shatters
the dam.

Blinded

• The pitch black sky shines brighter than you • I don't know why I stayed • All this time I thought you cared • I was too blinded to see I've been played

Co Depends

An act so practiced
like an invisible mask
If I see past
things will smash
our past wounds like food
for inadiquecies that keep us
intact
or rather keep me
coming back.

Together

• Orange you glad we're together forever? • With me always there, you're never alone • Even if some days you leave me sobbing • As I vent to my friend on the phone

Stitches Short

Alive within my soul, toxic as can be
His words remove the stitches, that kept my heart a beat
True love was once the claim, if ever that were true
Sewing broken pieces was all he had to do

Toxic Promises

The toxicity in the promises of someone who was not worthy of your everything keeps you from drinking the untainted nectar from someone worthy of your all.
-Let it go.

Premium Member How could you understand?

Your breath spews poison,
your words like hail
storm the night.

You're toxic and
your truth is blackness
doused with venom.

There is no room for compromise.

The tall poppy syndrome
Tells of those with one aim
To bring achievers down.
Those under achievers
Too lazy to compete,
This an abyss of shame
Transported far and wide.

Toxic Ashes

Toxic ashes
and it's spit.
The crimson blood
of nuclear pits.

The deformities;
the tremors
of your hate of life.

Your canister has ruptured
and your corpse will burn
with the rest of us.

Toxic State

I bent the universe

I bent the universe
back and forth
rapidly until
it cracked

and still couldn’t
fit through
to the future
or the past

I Loved You Because You Became Me

I always thought I was the moth, desperately trying to stay in your light no matter how many times you swatted

But now I see, I was only drawn to your light because it had been mine all along and you'd stolen it from me
